No I would have to say look at mercury!. It is the mind!. Often a mercury/saturn aspect, particularly the sextile!. But also, the nodes I think might come into play!. A moon/mercury conjunction is also a big indicator, especially if well aspected!. This aspect combines the left and right brains and gives great thought into emotion, emotion into thought!. Definately mercury and the 3rd house, and even possibly the 9th and 12th!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

This is based on personal experiences combined with astrology, since i seem to have an elephant memory myself!. First of all, I would say strong Earth/Water influence pertaining to Moon and Mercury (since the Moon possesses nurturing instincts and qualities linked to the past & Mercury is the planet of Communication, our intellectual expressions)!. Since Water & Earth are the past-oriented signs compared to the Fire/Air signs, a Water/Earth Mercury and/or Moon Sign/House indicates better-than-average memory!.
The memory function gets a boost with any conjunctions found between the Mercury/Moon contacts or the positive harmonious aspects of trines and sextiles!. But the Conjunction is definitely the strongest, especially if manifested in a 'nostalgic' House like 4th!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
