If you know your birth time, I can easily check your houses!. Birthdate, time, place!? O!.K!. Here goes, your rising sign is Cancer at 27 degrees- thats your 1st house cusp!. 2nd is Leo at 18, 3rd Virgo at 13, 4th Libra at 14, 5th Scorpio at 20 6th sag, 7th Capricorn 27, 8thAquarius at 18, 9th Pisces 13, 10th Aries 14, 11th Taurus 20, 12th Gemini!. Suns in 6th, Moons in 10th!. Yes you absolutely do need birth time to set your houses!. Significance of houses: they are the arenas that our particular planets express themselves, for instance you have a 6th house Sun in Capricorn so in addition to your Cap traits because the 6th is natural house of Virgo, you would have some virgoan traits!. Same with your other planets depending on their placements!. also, placements of house rulers are important!. Your 1st house is Cancer so is ruled by your Aries moon in the 10th!. 1st house ruler in the 10th usually has fairly strong ambition as the tenth house signifies career!. Anyway tons of good books that will tell you exactly what all the placements mean!. Sites, too!. Happy studying, KarenWww@Enter-QA@Com

this explains them and go to www!.astro!.com and give them your local/time/dob and they'll tell you about the rest!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

First you would have to use your place and time of birth, along with your date of birth, to locate your Ascendant and your Midheaven!. With those found, it really only depends on the kind of house system you use!.

The most common one is Placidus, and that divides the area between the Mc, Asc and Ic into 6 very unequal pieces!. The other 6 houses are the opposite points of the 6 beforenamed houses!. I'll leave it at that regarding the house systems!.!.!. in this answer anyway!.

The houses, then!. There are 12 houses as you know!. Just as there are 12 signs!. In very simple terms, the houses are the same the signs, and have typically the same traits as each sign!.

This simply means that the first house signifies Aries and represents a direct, impulsive approach, the second house signifies Taurus and represents a tenacious, stubborn approach, the third house!.!.!. etc!. So far I've noticed that this only applies to the planets in that house!.

A bit more complicated, the houses represent certain areas of our lives/personalities!. In which case, they are no longer related to the signs, BUT - don't forget - they still have the same traits as the signs!.

In that case, the significance of the houses is this;

1st house: Self - physical appearance
2nd house: Physical body - physical life, material posessions and money
3rd house: Mind - matters of the mind and ideas, way of thinking
4th house: Home - heritage, ancestors, family
5th house: Children - pleasure and sex
6th house: Occupation - service, physical health
7th house: Other people - more specifically partners, but also the world around you and how you see other people
8th house: Spiritual body - physical death, regeneration, occult, other people's material posession and their money; inheritance
9th house: Higher mind - matters of spirituality, rituals, religion, philosophy
10th house: Career - fame, popularity
11th house: Social groups - friends, acquaintances, charity, !.!.!.
12th house: Collective - loss of identity, the hidden, subconscious, psychological health, also buildings, and places where you experience loss of identity and become a number!. (It also includes the practice of certain major religions, for obvious reasons - not to be confused with religions themselves which are philosophical in nature)

The houses in this case are influenced by both the sign on the cusp of the house and the planets in that house!.

Hope it helped!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
