I am a taurus with a leo rising and my boyfriend (soon to be husband) is a cancer. He can be very emotional and moody at times, but I just ignore it and give him his space and then he will be his usual self again 30 minutes later. Cancers can be insecure at times and usually only go into those moods when they feel that you do not care about them or if they are upset about something. Cancer men are wonderful though and I would put up with a lil moodswing here and there just to be loved, adored, pampered, supported, encouraged and taken care of the rest of the time. I am a cancer and I am the hardest person I have ever met. I have only cried once in my life, people tell me crap all the time, and I do not care what people think. Horoscopes do not tell anything.

I know! they get so upset over the smallest things! If I forget to get something, all hell breaks loose. and they are so emotional it drives me insane. Usually they're nice, but they shouldn't be so nitpicky sometimes!
It's our nature. Sometimes we read too much into things. We are just trying to protect ourselves from being hurt. If you are having a problem with a cancer, just tell them that your intentions are good, and that maybe letting their guard down a little might not be such a bad thing.
haha, yeah.. i know some cool ones, but they are wayyyyy too moody and sensitive for me. you as a leo, you'd crush their feelings on a daily basis with that fire sign directness.. making that a very bad match.
Being sensitive has both ups and downs. The downs is that you may be too sensitive over the smallest things. Can't keep your ground, unlike Capricorn, Cancer's opposite, who are equally sensitive but stay reserved and don't express it. But having a cancer as your friend or someone nearby is good when you feel really down or depressed. They will come and help you or hug you. I like cancers. Maybe because in some ways I am emotional. Its just hard for me to express it as I have many capricorns in my chart.

Cancer are insecure which accounts for their sensitivity. They are overly emotional at times. They cling to thepast too much and carry this part to the present.
I keep telling my Cancer friend that you cannot build a future on the past and that she should stop clinging to it.

And.....i seriously dont know any sensetive cancers in my life, and i know alot of them. How we were raised and a pinch of genetics makes us who we are.
LOL @ time travler..... personally i love cancer people, its all about how they control there emotions.. i use to date this one cancer guy and omg, it was hell, he was a big cry baby and i found myself being his mother half the time, so i was like hell no i got to get out of this, it was terriable .. im curently with this other cancer guy and he balances hes emotions pretty good., best thing that ever happend to me.... im a scorpio

cause we are intuitive and can sense your true motive , and we know that you get irritated and have no patience which us cancers have alot of that , so its more of knowing and picking up on your feelings , so since yo know this maybe you can just not say anything if you know its going to iritate, sometimes no words are needed we already know what is going on ,

thats just the nature of the zodiac sign, cancer is depicted by a crab, soft inside, hard outside and in terms of element, its water, always related to being emotional, sensitive, touchy etc.
perhaps, the cancer you know, might be quite young, still immature and is actually insensitive, rather than sensitive. she has not learn to become more sensitive with her feelings regarding your feelings and aggravations. maybe she doesnt even know that her defensiveness is really bothering you that much....have you talked to her about it?
given the idea that being sensitive can go many ways, and cancers in general ARE so sensitive, we would really care to not rub the people we like and love in the wrong way. and if its unintentionally, we would apologize and try improve our irrationalities.
also, bear in mind, sensitivity is highly subjective to the person, not limited to cancers alone. what is sensitive to you, might not be sensitive to her and vice versa.
