Frustrated with the aquarius male..?!
Question: My best friend is an aquarius.. he has my heart.. i know he cares about me, but he just cant seem to let me in completely.. he frustrates me.. People around us think we are a couple when they see us together.. We have cycles where he gets too close and then pulls away.. Anybody in or was in the same situation? What did you do?

One of my dearest friends is an Aquarius. We had an on again, off again fling and he used to frustrate me in the beginning, but then my logical and rational Virgo sun and rising kicked in and then I started frustrating him. They like challenges and rattling others emotionally, but if you get too close to doing the same to them, they can't deal with it. When I realized this, I no longer became frustrated and I love and accept him for his quirky qualities. If he hasn't heard from me, he calls and says I called you because I know you missed me instead of saying he missed me. I just reply, yeah, I missed you too. Sometimes he will just pop up at my house without calling and say he was in the neighborhood when I know very well he wasn't. When he does things like that, I know he cares about me and loves me even though he won't utter the words to save his life. I moved on to a stable relationship, but my intriguing Aquarian is still very close to my heart.
My ex is an Aquarian and he informed me that the only difference between me and his other friends was that we had sex lol.
Typical or Aquarius. They are faithful, if you want romance, they will only be romantic with a bit of achohol in them, even then it is a slow waltz around the lounge room floor.They are jealous even though they try to convince you there not.We are still friends only as we both have partners.
Aquarians are a bit tricky to figure out.
I dated some Aquarians in my day and let me tell you it was too much work for me to try and figure them out.
They are fun folks to be around with but when it comes to matters of the heart they fail miserably.
It's all their own doing ... they complain about not having love but when it comes to them they don't know what to do with it.
They're a bit strange if you ask me...I loose interest very quickly with them.

that sounds about right. i'm an aquarius girl and it's just our nature to only let people get so close. so i guess my best advice is- if you really truly love him, learn to deal with it cuz he's not gonna change.
Aquarians being governed by Saturn, the planet of justice, usually are not very comfortable in too much togetherness always try to keep sufficient distance and do not enter in anything unmindful and unless fully convinced.
im an aquarius or aquarius cusp whatever that is.... but i can defienently understand what ur going through or better what ur friend is going through. personally, i like being close to someone but i feel its necessary to kepp some distance sometimes. most of what i do is governed by my modd at that particular time. if i had to give u advice, i would say , just be patient!! lol
I was in the SAMEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE exact position a few years ago w/ this Aquarius guy I liked to death. He always understood me and kept up w/ each other's lives day by day, and there are times where he gets all close and intimate, but then the next hour, he's detached and acts like nothing happened. And this would happen OVER and OVER again for two years until I got tired of the routine. We're still friends now, but I try to stay a few steps ahead of him.
