ailrighty..just tell them that it was all an accident, because it was wasnt it? its not like ure lying or anything. theyll be glad that u told the truth..& theyll soften up. =]
ALWAYS tell your parents everything , they will be less mad than if they find out themselves! =/
& when yur b-day comes, im sure theyll be glad to get u a new one, cuz its yur b-day!! xD

it probably will, im not a psychic but something like that happened to me, and after a while my cell started to work completely fine again

Throw it in the dog or cat's water bowl and let your parents find it, then you can blame it on your pet.

lol no

I don't need to be a psychic to tell you that your parents are probably gonna be a little pizzed. lol

I'm sure they will get you another one.... maybe a little cheapy $15 special from a discount store, but they probably will.

If it was on when it was washed its not going to work but you might try taking it apart and cleaning it with rubbing alcohol. Then blow dry it with a hair dryer.

i am no psychic, but yea they are going to, but that doesnt mean they will be mad at you for ever, they will get over it, and they still love you

If your parents were smart, they probably have insurance through your carrier on the phone for instances just as this. Normally, $50 will replace your phone. Don't lie to your parents about it, they WILL KNOW. Plus, you will be riddled with guilt. They will get mad, but they will get over it. You need a wireless phone, I'm sure they will reluctantly replace it one way or another.

I am not a psychic.....but I can tell you this.....they probably won't buy you a new one until you can show them you can be responsible enough to take care of your things. You are 16, turning 17, go buy your own.......

I think you should come flat out and tell them the truth.

i mean, you can't expect them to give you a brand new phone if they think your irresponsible.

If I where you, I would just hang tight without a phone, and start to save up money for my own.

USUALLY, if your parents see you trying to buy your own stuff, they'll agree to help out...

You don't need a scam artist to help with your problem. It sounds like you made an honest mistake that many others have made. First you could stop at your carrier's store and see if it is just the battery. Unless your parents are Godzilla and Atilla the Hun, just tell them what happened and how you tried to remedy the mistake. You should offer to help pay for a replacement by skipping your allowance for a while, or if you work, make a contribution. Just talk to them. Playing games only makes things worse. If they are not reasonable people, then you still have to tell them what happened and still offer to help with the replacement.
