from my personal experience Taurus men are very trustworthy and down to earth. They are always straightforward and laid back
well not from mine taurus men and women are sneaky and jealous. The guys will definetly cheat probably with more girls than what you think and you probably wont even expect it but it will come out they are very cool laid back people but when it comes to love they cannot be trusted

I am a Taurus, and i have had many relationships with Taurus men, and many friendships with Taurus women.
The 'TRUE' traits of a Taurean are many, but the key traits are down to earth, influenced by the fact that they are an Earth sign. Stubborn, it is futile arguing with a Taurean, you'll never win. They do not like change, they are homely people, they love everything beautiful, which can make them arrogant, but they are certainly trustworthy. With a Taurus, a friend is for life, and they also carry this through to their love life. They are loyal, and do not need bedroom gymnastics to get their kicks. Food is another great love of the Taurean, which can be a problem, as the typical Taurus loves to over-eat, resulting in an expanding waist line! LOL
I am sorry, but i do not agree that you cannot trust a Taurean, this statement is completely incorrect and unjustified!
As for the question, are Taurus guys players, well, some are. I dated a Taurean male for many years, on and off, and he never really seemed to be able to commit. I put it down to the fact that we were both too much alike, but as a player, he certainly wasn't. He was a friend, he was loyal to me, he was true to me, and he was honest. Taurean's will always speak their mind, and i cherished every moment of our time together.
So, no, i dont believe Taurean guys are players. Maybe cheeky, but not players.
From what I know they are down to earth and laid back, cant say they are players but there are alot of things that go into the components of one person would need much more details to narrow that down.
