Would you ever plan the conception of your children based on astrology?!
Question: Meaning, if you really wanted to have an Aquarian baby would you purposely conceive in May? I personally wouldn't. I think our children (whatever sign they may be) are brought to us so we can learn from them. My children are both Aquarians and I never would have planned that in a million years, but they are teaching me to be more flexible and less "by the book" while I am teaching them to be a little more considerate of people's feelings and to think before they leap. I do have a cousin that desperately wanted her child to be Gemini and planned conception accordingly. Do you have an opinion on this subject?

Interesting question. Never thought about it before and no, I wouldn't do that. Good or bad, we are all unique in our own way and have something to teach someone or learn something from someone else. I have never been able to conceive, so if I am blessed one day in the future, I just want a healthy baby that I can love, care for, cuddle and kiss it to pieces! I don't think people should focus on conception with astrology in mind because whatever qualities the child possesses because of their sun sign, they can be taught others because of their parents values that they instill in them.
i don't see any problem with it at all, but i wouldn't do it, i would just want it to happen when it happens. I am Gemini, what is up with them ( you said your sister desperately wanted her kids to be gemini)
Libras are the best... its easy to make babies on New Year's Eve, right? I don't think I would purposely try, but I think its interesting you say this because I have thought about it

Although I do have a friend who did exactly that. She wanted two Pisces children, because she believed that they would be the best signs to get along with her introverted husband. She had two Pisces!
I personally would not bother, I'd rather that child select me and when they come along. Having said that, I would be very concerned if I had a Scorpio, because they are f *ckers.
If my ability to conceive was that easy to plan, I believe I would....My mother is a Taurus....she and I have NEVER gotten along and now we don't even speak....I'm a Sagittarius, yet she gets along great with my Cap brother....I don't think she had any business having a Sagittarius child, but back in the 50's you could hardly plan.
I wouldn;t, but I would not be surprised if people timed their cecereans to astrological timings. Its the exact time and place of birth that gives the star signs their individual characteristics. (like mercury rising, sun sign, moon on the acent of jupiter or whatever)

I would want to do it. I'd want 3 kids, a dragon, a horse, and a goat. I'd want my dragon to be a scorpio female, my horse to be piscean male, and my goat to be an aquarius male. But if anything, I'd just want it to happen when it's supposed to. My brother and his girlfriend are both water signs and they had a piscean baby (accident...). What happens, happens. I don't think it's something people should take too much advantage of.
No the luck of the draw so to speak
I've thought about it and I used to care and wanted to plan for certain signs, then I realized every sign has its blessings and faults and I get along with about every sign. I believe kids are supposed to be a product of your teaching and are supposed to teach you something about yourself. I don't want to plan cuz I velieve whatever sign my kids are I'm sure I will love them and will see some part of me in them.
That is a really great idea! I would definitely do it so I don't wind up with Cancers. I don't get along w/ them and I would hate to not get along w/ my children.
Now it's a moot point and I didn't go that far, but when I figured out that my son was going to be a Virgo like myself, I got very upset about it. My father and I are both Virgos and don't get along at all. I couldn't imagine having that kind of relationship with my son too. Luckily he was born on the cusp and has more Leo tendencies. We are best friends now and always have been. I wouldn't fault anyone for planning the child's zodiac sign.
