What is the magnitude of the gravitational force exerted by distant stars on the!

Question: Withpou getting out the old physics books I can tell you that it is so small as to not matter. Altough the masses involved are quite large so are the distances. Since gravitational force falls off as an inverse to the square of distance it declines rapidly. Doulbing the distance reduces the force to 1/4 so sleep well knowing you will not get sucked into Proxima in the night.

excellent question my man, g'day!!!

in the case of Paris Hilton the force is quite great cause I reckon she sucks!!!

everything has a gravitational pull on everything else in the universe.......not sure how much though
