What are the emotional need of a person with Moon in Gemini...What is good & bad!

Question: Personally, I've only known one boyfriend with a gemini moon, but had 3 long term relationships with gemini suns.

In general terms they're very picky, very discriminating, and sometimes bossy and self-righteous, because they're so convinced that they are absolutely right. But when something captures their interest , their enthusiasm is absolutely contagious. They can be very convincing. They enjoy debating point by point. And their information is up to the minute. They pride themselves on being well informed, at least superficially.

They're probably the ones who invented the sound byte.
They want to keep current with all that's happening, but their eyes glaze over if they have to endure a long-winded explanation. Still, they're able to maintain a polite veneer, an effective social mask, a poker face.

And they've all had more patience for procedure than I can maintain. They don't seem to mind the necessary process of deliberation, and taking things procedurally step by step. In fact they're more upset if the logical sequence is skipped.

They seem to thrive on a variety of social contacts, to see their ideas, or their presence reflected in the eyes of many different people is very gratifying. To be able to bounce from person to person for comparison and contrast seems to feed some inner need, which would otherwise fester.

Also, they're not all as talkative as they're made out to be.
Sure they all carry cell phones, but they seem to be quite content as observers, looking, listening, watching, picking up on cues and clues, always noticing the details around them.
This is probably what they have in common with Virgos, both being Mercury ruled.

And because they're always paying attention they can make some wickedly funny remarks about what they've observed.
Sometimes summing people up with a nickname. I remember one, given to a transsexual coworker, who changed from Robert to Bobbi, was called "the transformer" after the little cartoon cars that could change into robots, etc.

They don't seem to make up their minds quickly, unless it's absolutely necessary, but then they're capable of reflex action.

Most of all I think that they appreciate having the freedom to act as they choose, when they choose, and to be able to consider things as long as they need to. Requiring complete freedom to change their mind or course of action. Because they are always paying attention, they are very independent. They like to give their feedback, but don't like to depend on other people, because they develop very good judgement through observation , and have very fine and discriminating taste.

The downside is that romantic gestures make them blush to the soles of their feet. They can't seem to tolerate public displays of affection, and they're always striving to keep things light. To keep their distance emotionally. They're afraid of feeling like a fool off balance. They seem to feel most secure when they know the nearest escape route. And the only way I've found to make it last is to accept their flightiness, and to live in the moment, while it exists.

You should probably ask my cat....she's a gemini.

LOL!!!

Moon in Gemini people are emotionally detached. This is both a blessing and curse. It is a blessing because you can easily get over an emotional wound or slight, but a curse in that people feel they can never really get close to you. You need change---whether it be to rearrange the furniture in your home consistantly, or changing your appearance, getting tattoos or piercings, etc. You are extremely spontaneous which makes you fun, but it could get you into trouble because you often leap without thinking and could live to regret the decisions you have made.
