Are horoscopes just for fun or is there an element of truth?!

i would say a little of both. i like to read them for fun but sometimes its like they know whats going on in my life
I get horoscopes in my e-mail and sometimes they're actually true! When I read them it sometimes actually knows what my day is like..it's weird. But sometimes they're wrong. So I believe in them a little bit.
In magazines they are too general and vague. If you get a personal one then it would be a lot more accurate. I find horoscopes and birth charts interesting but I wouldn't live my life by them!
People who write horoscopes are louse bound money making mingers who prey on people who want more from life than they have. I can assure you as a humanist nobody on this planet, and I mean NOBODY can tell the future!!!

Horoscopes are a lot of fun, but what makes them even more fun is the fact that sometimes there is an element of truth. Me personally, i never read my daily horoscopes because its usually so vague and can apply to anyone or anything, but i do believe that the time of the month that you were born in definately affects your character. Im exactly what a Scorpio is described as, and all of my friends and family act exatly as their zodiac sign describes them as. I really don't think it can just be a coincidence. But whether you choose to believe it or not is entirely up to you.
I hate to say it but i see similarities in horoscopes and how they relate to people. It's kinda creepy. people argue that someone would tell me they are a sign and then I would rationalize until I believed it, but I look at people, get to know them a little and I can guess their sign. Like I said. kinda creepy. How does That Happen? lol.
i think they can be both one day mine was actually right i laughed so hard people thought something was wrong with me!!!!

i dunno, im a libra, and all the traits of a libra match me (stubborn, sociable...) but astrology is really just for fun. you shouldn't be stressing if your boyfriend is an gemini and you are not compatible with him...it's just for fun! i like reading about my symbol and how much it has in common with me, but i don't take it seriously! :)
Horroscopes are fun but their is truth to them. I researched all about my sign (Leo) and i'm EXACTLY like that, and my horroscopes are always right. So, its not JUST for fun.
they r jst for fun bt they r not true. ppl jst like to read them. i also read them but so far they havent been true.
i believe in them......my friend is obsessed with star signs and all this kinda stuff and she can usually tell by meeting someone what star sign they are and shes usually right!! ....but magazine stuff is too vague so i never believe that stuff!!! if you get a horoscopes professionally tho i think they cud really tell your future! :D
Astrology is said and taught to reflect the basic patterns for the Universe, the Earth, and essentially, all living things. We all run under the cycle of the seasons, and the seasons come without fail at the same time every year, affecting the weather and even the chemicals in the air, so why wouldn't we, products of the Earth also be affected by this repetitive pattern? I see Astrology in all living things.

Yeah, there might be a coincidential thing that happens that happens to be in your horospcope, but they are a bunch of bull.

Im not sure in reading your horoscopes in mags etc as there all very vague and can be applied to everyone,...but I totally believe that they affect your character aswell!!im a gemini and ive researched it a couple of times & i really reflects my personaility & way of thinking...i could go on but basically everything!!!!:)
