Anyone know much about astrology?!

Question: I have a friend that is a saggitarian. We were really happy when we were best friends, but then when we tried to make things more than that he seemed to push me away.

The relationship seemed to feel like nothing to him. He wouldnt kiss, hug or talk to me.

Whats going on? He is a saggitarian and I am a libran. I know that I am into relationships, I hope I didn't scare him away. Someone please help. What went wrong?

Hummm... Sags can be flitty creatures but they are usually not resistant to attention. You may want to look at the rest of the relationship dynamics. Did you go from being best friends to trying to be in a stable commited relationship. Sometimes friends with beniffits is about as far as people are willing to go. You might want to discuss that with him directly and ask what his expectations were.

Good luck and enjoy!

The state of your relationship has nothing to do with your astrological signs.

I went to a good school for astrology, so I know much more about it than 99.44% of the amateurs on here. My books say that Sun signs are irrelevant in compatibilty. Synastry is the parrt of astrology that deals with that, and it is more complex than saying sun signs of the same element are best togetehr. i know by personal experience that is childish nonsense, but I am sure someone will utter such stuff in reply to your question here. There are no shortcuts. To do synastry, I must know the time, place, month, date and year both of you were born.

You should be confused because according to one astrologer the possible explanations for where your life is headed can be virtually infinite (and what astrologer has the time to sort out which one is the correct reading then?)

According to astrologers your fate is either determined by the stars' positions or only influenced them (so apparently if you know that the stars are say, causing you to try and eat a poisoned apple, you can then have a better chance of not eating a poisoned apple). The first kind is a problem for Christians who believe that man's will is free, it is also a problem for Christians who believe that man's will is more important than God's will and supersedes it (they are heretics of course and actually hate Christ and do not love him to believe something so plainly wrong to believe). As far as "coincidence" there is no such thing, and that includes "random" or "chance" happenings. It is unscientific and unBiblical (the scientific method actually comes from the Bible in the story of Gideon testing God twice). God did say however, concerning when the wicked succeed in their evil, this:

"If a prophet or a dreamer of dreams arises among you and gives you a sign or a wonder, and the sign or wonder that he tells you comes to pass, and if he says, 'Let us go after other gods,' which you have not known, 'and let us serve them,' [then] you shall not listen to the words of that prophet or that dreamer of dreams. For the Yahweh your God is testing you, to know whether you love Yahweh your God with all your heart and with all your soul. You shall walk after Yahweh your God and fear him and keep his commandments and obey his voice, and you shall serve him and hold fast to him. But that prophet or that dreamer of dreams shall be put to death, because he has taught rebellion against Yahweh your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt and redeemed you out of the house of slavery, [that prophet of dreamer tries] to make you leave the way in which Yahweh your God commanded you to walk. So you shall purge the evil from your midst." - Deuteronomy 13:1-5

That doesn't mean Christians, especially who are not a king or queen, are necessarily to go out and execute diviners and false prophets, because for now you are to preach the gospel to your enemies in hopes they will be saved. Unless you are a king or queen or a ruler of some sort with regards to who should die for breaking a law, and unless the diviner or false prophet divined or made a false prophecy in the land under your rule, then you have no business attempting to execute someone on your own. If the person persisted however under a government that believed such practices were evil, then it wouldn't be wrong to you to report such a person to the government to have them put a stop to it at last by jailing or fining the person. It is possible in America to get a person convicted of fraud, even if they use religious means to disguise the fraud, for example by claiming their false prophecies were from God and that he commanded them to make them.
