There is a means of communicating with the dead called "electronic voice phenomena" or EVP. The dead can use electrical energy and radio waves to transmit messages. There are obviously many controversies surrounding the subject, however there are several websites around the Internet filled with thousands of audio clips from people who have recorded the dead. Most are scratchy and hard to decipher, but some are clear as a bell. It may take time to piece together a message.
You cannot hear the dead speak with just "ears". You must use some kind of recording device and "white noise" for them to manipulate to communicate.

Believe it, there are people who communicate with the dead. It is a very special gift. We are all born with these abilities but only some develop it. Enjoy your connection with your grandma it's something very special.
