It's good that you realise how you over ananlyze, u should try not to, it would probably help your relationship & your own mind!
It sounds like he is being too demanding & expecting more of you than he should. If he truly cares about you he will accept you for who you are. You don't need to take his crap. If you don't both calmly & logically work together on this, it may have a very bad ending.

A typical Virgo vocation is "nurse", but in my experience VERY Virgo people are blind to a loved one's genuine illness. They seem not to even want to believe senior doctors' letters...the doctor MUST be wrong!
I think you should have an adult conversation with him and let him have a good think for a while.
