Is it true a Moon in Capricorn is allot like a moon In Scorpio?!

Question: the moon in capricorn is said to be in a detrimental position while the moon in scorpio is said to be in a fall position.

they do have similarities, especially in the field of handling emotions and the expression of emotions, in that they rarely show them, have trouble with them, and have very little regard for expression of them.

both capricorn and scorpio moon suppress their emotions to a great extent but in a slightly different manner.

i remember reading that capricorn moon often lack a strong father figure in their early childhood life. having had (somehow many) contact with people who have capricorn moons, i can say that this sounds true to some extent for those who have capricorn moon. moon represents what they desire in life; capricorn is the sign of fatherhood; capricorn moon in early life, seeks father figures, and lack them; which supposedly manifests by their inability to be flexible (capricorn moons seek structure like a person in desert seeks water).

capricorn moons have these positive qualities - they are sensible, practical, ambitious, methodical, and consistent. their negative qualities are that they can be quite insensitive to others' feelings, they're overly pragmatic (which could be positive or negative depending on the situation), they're workaholics, restrictive, and obstinate.

i've read many articles indicating scorpio moons to often have unstable or unhappy childhood in regards to their parents; there might be signs of abuse on the part of the father figure against the mother figure, or that the mother figure is overly strong in their household..., no clue whether this theory pans out. anyways... this makes the scorpio moon believe the world is not a friendly place. if there is one thing scorpio moons seem to be famous for, is their ability to manipulate people and things to their advantage.

some of scorpio moon's positive qualities are that they're sensual, intuitive (pretty useful to be manipulative, i guess), extremely thorough researchers, alluring, and have strong memory. their negative qualities include their tendencies to be domineering, tendencies to be nosey/prying, they're overly sensitive, have compulsions, and are very slow to forgiving others.

although you might think they're similar, their discomfort with emotions come in a different method; often, scorpio moons will repress their emotions until they can't hold it any longer (high blood pressure anyone?) and explode... which can be pretty destructive. capricorn moons will channel their emotions through work and other daily structures, which could lead to depression, overly structured, inflexible lifestyle.

of course, this is only looking at the moon signs alone; most people have other aspects in their charts which makes it easier for them to express their emotions through means other than the above.

I herd there allot alike.

yes, there both possessive

secretive, intense on the inside, jealous, possessive, stubborn, unrelenting, hidden passion

Not really - the two signs are both strong and ambitious, but Moon in Scorpio is infinitely more passionate in general.

i don't think so. scorpio is the sign if extremes. cap moons are cool with their emotions. scorpio moons are forceful with their emotions. i think they're quite different. but they're both determined and value privacy.

I'm a Capricorn Moon I compare Myself to a Scorpio moon and I find very similar Characteristics.

Since these Moon placements are considered to be the least favorable with one in its 'fall' and the other in its 'detriment', they seem to have striking resemblances on first appearances. To others, they both appear to be cold and emotionally cut off but nothing could differ more underneath all the superficial externalities.

The Cap Moon is not an emotional Moon because it puts feelings aside and seeks security and stability in the material realm instead. As such, this is a 'materialistic' Moon placement as it easily confuses the emotions/feeling realm with materialism. It often equates love with money and if not checked, can spiral down into a deep well of emotional voidness eventually.

On the other hand, the Scorpio Moon appears to be non-emotional because it finds it difficult to come to terms with its emotional intensity and extremes, thus preferring to hide it away from the prying eyes of others by maintaining an appearance of nonchalance. This is often mistakenly viewed as an 'unemotional' moon but nothing could be further away from the truth. Scorpio Moons are all about power, control and gaining the upper hand. They seek out the psychological motives of others without revealing their own cards first. There is a certain amount of paranoia associated with this Moon placement, of not being wanted to be taken advantage of by others in any way. As such, it may make enemies out of others when there is none at all.

Yes my moons in Capricorn.
