I have a Gemini co-worker and he's the only Gemini Sun I've ever met....
He would like to be combative, but he can't keep up verbally with my Aquarius moon... I can get him all spun up in about two seconds and he just keeps spinning all by himself for another half hour....
It keeps me entertained on my coffee breaks...

Many years ago I had a boyfriend who was a gemini; he was both confrontational and combative in his daily life, and he loved it. He seemed to win every argument. He would have made a very good attorney. Other than that, I cannot generalize about geminis.

Yes - verbally combative and yes - confrontational. You can add relentless and uncompromising to that list too.
Of course, not all Geminis are like that - I've known a few that don't care anything more than conversing just for the sake of communication - no malice whatsoever.

Gemini is an intellectual sign and not a combative sign. If you want to battle with words, than forget it. You wont win against any Gemini and the women are worse. They can talk your head off and actually, are more confrontational than men.
Gemini wont confront like a Scorpio, who is also an expert in words. Scorpio can be dead blunt with words.
Basically, Gemini is combative but with words only.
Gemini's can say things without thinking and hurt your feelings and yes they are good at arguing because their weapon is their words and i guess they can be combative also, but i think it would depend on how mad they were.

OK..since you mentioned "not other aspects of the chart" I would say I am ........when I know I am right, or just to get people out of their comfort zone, stirrs them a bit........get them talking, explaining their point of view, explain yours etc etc...could go on for hours/days/months..
Am fairly diplomatic and let go most of the time.....
but when I want to argue about something I always say :think.,,,now think deeper...and now think even deeper..explain to me !!
Am fairly open to all ideas though so if somebody presents me with a good explanation as to why I am thinking wrongly I will accept it. And admit that indeed I was wrong,,,HECK so many people are just smarter than me !!
I think my AC is kind of misleading to people.........I love joking, well all the Gem thing...but once somebody knows me a lot more ( enters the 7th house here)....they see a lot more..pretty or not..

So I would say............yeah...Gem can be combative alright..on the intellectual level.....(but ..please ..can I say not all ??)
I think they are like sag..short attention span for what does not interest them.......but plenty of dedication for what really interests them. And can be sneaky to catch other people contradictions. Not confronting head on..usually..but make fun and remind them of what they said before...using wordplays, irony and sometimes sarcasm..
Yes theyre both i got into it with a gemini not that long ago and to my surprise she wasnt afraid and she started yelling back at me i was like whaaat? So she got her a** beat but i mean i had to it was the only way to get her to shut the hell up.
