Question: I mean I know sun, mercury, ascendents, moon signs, etc. of people I have never seen, don't know where they live, etc; yet, I know all this other personal natal chart information. From a few answers I just read, it appears that I am not the only one who has absorbed and retained all this information.

Yes, it really is...I mean there are also some other "small" sections in Y!A but, still the regulars don't have such a strong "bond", if you allow me to say so...
I always had a very strong memory when it came to astrological info but, we should also keep in mind that especially lately we have come across some VERY VERY intelligent questions which gave us the opportunity to exchange such information and get to know each other better. I mean when someone notices someone/something interesting, it is reasonable for him/her to want to know more about it/him/her.
I also think that we're feeling quite comfortable with each other...Most of us don't have a problem accepting what others think or believe (in contrast with R&S for example.) And more or less we all share a common trait-our interest in Astrology (something that doesn't apply to all Y!A sections)
And last but not least, we have a great time here! I mean despite the fact that we’re not allowed to post that many games but, we still do have a great time, don’t we? I’ve just thought that perhaps this “fun” atmosphere of the section is due to all these Sags…In fact, I am almost sure about it…There are so many Sags here-I doubt if I have ever seen so many people of the same sign gathered in one place. I do believe that all of us have contributed in one way or another to this section, though…I guess it is the result of this so-called “team spirit”.

I find looking at a persons chart, really can tell you ALOT about them. Its just another way to get to know people, I often wonder why people are so offended or scared of it...?

Gosh......I think knowing getting glimpses of charts makes us understand each other more than pure random Qs like........in P/S..or R/S..and at certain level people really go beyond : "Aries- or whatever for that matter- rule: etc..we go a bit beyond sun sign only....and gee we know sun signs are not the whole sprectrum..and knowing a bit about the other person.......well...that makes us understand a bit more..which is the purpose really.
People have different ideas, expresses them differently, contribute in their own manner...once you know a gemini might not stay too long.....or come back after exploring other fields etc..........
Like people mentioned..........there are more intelligent questions asked around too....I sure learn from others..
But it is always kind of interesting anyway........to see how people come together without knowing a thing.........and SURPRISE !! they end up matching your sun,moon, ascendant etc.BEFORE you know anything about them.......well not that much of a surprise to me anyway..
I think that all of us are loving and helping people and that is why you are all my friends! We don't give smart remarks we try to help others from our hearts, with help of the charts and horoscopes. I have never heard anyone here judge another nor dismissed someones ideas. We all listen to each other and talk about the differences. That's is real friends! That is why I love the horoscope section and all of you!
