Do you ever dream of places that you've never been or people that you've!
Question: I drifted off to sleep a few hours ago and had a dream about the same highway that I've been driving on in my dreams since I was 14. It has 5 exits, some with fast food places, one with a mall and some shopping centers, one with some creepy houses, and one with an all together evil neighborhood. A cannibal family lives in the evil neighborhood and Freddy Krueger's house is on that same street. I hardly dream about going to that neighborhood anymore so I guess that's good. I travel this highway at least once every 1-2 months and bump into the same people (whom I'm never met in real life) in these dreams. Do you ever have dreams like that of unknown people and places and what could they possibly mean? Do you think that people and places that you dream of may actually exist in real life?
I know that Freddy Krueger doesn't exist before anyone mentions that..lol.

i have done that all the time! its kinda weird but intensely cool, it makes me think that our dreams are memories of a past life and the people we have known. and in some cases people we are destined to meet in the future but have not yet for some reason (our free will our unexplained last minute choices whatever) but since we have not yet crossed each others paths the fates put us together in the only way they can...our dreams.

i bet (if you ever do meet these people or find this place) the day it happens you will just feel like your in a familiar place or with a familiar person but you wont be able to pin point it to your dreams...or maybe you will. these places had to come from somewhere right??? i have met people before that i just knew i had known before something about them whether it be a weird kind of smile a tone of voice something i just knew i knew it. it felt kinda like a karmic kick...very cool. i guess we are both deep in thoughts...LOL
try keeping a journal by your bed and write in specific details soon as you wake up because after about 2 minutes you will forget all those small details and try and find out if you do ever come across your dream people and places in this reality. but i do agree with the idea that there could be more happening then our minds are even ready to concieve.

edit: Yep, I definitely believe that when we go to sleep, our spirits leave us, and there are times we may go someplace or meet someone in spirt, and then in real life if we ever were to meet them or come across the same place, it would be the strangest feeling of dejavu. I've had that feeling sometimes, and when I meet those people, we usually click instantly. But life is full of mysteries eh? That's what makes it so interesting.

i daydream bout meeting people i dont know or a place ive never been but never dreamt of if. only daydreamed and fantasized.
yes. sometimes during afternoon naps. places near large bodies of water.
yes there are people in my dreams i dont recognize but for some reason i know them.
i always see people i know in unknown places...and that is also in weird way...ok dont laugh about it. i saw myself kissing brendan fraser on a terrace (my first kiss)...it was so strange...the night was windy...n there was some kind of light falling on us from somewhere...that was 2 yrs ago though. i feel it was a sign that someone like him was about it enter in my life...and yes it happened. the guy is as big as brendan fraser...he is the first guy i ever kissed...my real dates with him seemed to be like that dream too.
Yes, I even dream in forms I have never been in my waking life..that's the subconscious.
Yes, of course...My 12th house is way too heavy for me to avoid that. I have 3 or 4 planets in it (including my Sun). So, I guess it is needless to say that my dreams are VERY vivid.
I do have dreams of people who I don't know...however, there is always a sense of having met them before...they all seem very familiar. And the same thing happens with places. When I have a dream that seems "weird" at least initially, I get the chance to interpret it by the end of the week (approximately)..It's very strange, I just realized it, hmm...
I think that they may exist in real life because some of these things I have dreamed of later came across me in "real" life. I guess you never know...
