I had a dream once where I was eating this enormous marshmellow. When I woke up, my pillow was gone !!1!
Path of life and its serenity. But there's more to it than just that. The scene of the dream plays a huge part as well.
Sometimes the water shows if you're at ease or not and sometimes it can be a medium to calm and cool your feelings.
Dreams are forms of relaxation as well. But it really depends on what your dream is all about.

mine is always about being near large bodies of water (the sea, large lakes, deep oceans). sometimes filled with rapids, sometimes calm. but i feel whole whenever i'm near the water. it connotes mystery and deep thoughts.
