Pssst...just use your Scorpion Ascendant stinger to attack next time you find yourself in a similar situation...

Just kidding..but seriously, yeah, Mars is essentially a fire-ruled sign and the water element definitely puts out the flames of Mars here! Imagine pouring 2 buckets of water here...one from Pisces and the other from 4th House (Cancer's natural House).

Mars in Pisces will actually give you a vacillating sort of energy, as you weigh the options, symbolized by the fishes swimming in opposite directions. Mars is outer-directed assertion and drive so in this case, all the energy turns inwards instead. Well, the good thing to come out of this sign placement is that you will assert yourself in an emotional, sensitive, co-operative and unassuming manner.

This will be evident in 4th House affairs as the energies get manifested in that area of your life to do with the past, family, tradition, history, nostalgia. You are likely to reveal your Mars energies mainly to people within the domestic context, other family or relatives. There is a lot of empathetic motivation on your part when issues pertaining to the home and family are involved. You are predisposed to take a calm and compassionate atttitude towards your domestic matters though.

This is considered 'weak' in the sense that the energies don't get some sort of external release like in Aries, Sagittarius, 5th or 9th Houses. They are more like seething intense emotions lurking underneath the surface, away from the prying eyes of others and directed more towards those in your immediate family unit.

EDIT: My Mars is in Sagittarius in 9th House - oh wait, i need to pack up for my next globe-trotting trip right away lol.. okay, i admit i have a more 'favorably' placed Mars than yours (being in both a fire sign and house) BUT you have more watery placements, which balances out your logical, rationalizing Geminian tendencies.. i wish i have more watery placements in my chart. I am almost deficient in Water. And your Mars placement encourages keeping peace/harmony within the family unit. Ok, i'm trying to help u look on the bright side of things (looks like it's not helping?! haha). Just a matter of perception, there *is* still something positive abt the Mars in Pisces/4th House placement...focus on the good bits....

And boy, what were you thinking of... getting into those fights and all!!?!

weak in what sense
is strength - assertiveness and physical force alone?
this is a charming position, although energy here comes and goes and is never constant. you need to find an outlet for your creativity, otherwise youll blow up with aggression, most are tuned inwards. some talented artists/musicians/actors have this position.

but once youve found a way to express your creativity, mars in pisces is a happy little camper =D

EDIT:

well energy here is not as strong, also depending on its aspects. pisces could explode one moment and still the next.
although youll be suprised how much energy they have when theyre inspired, they always seem to need that little push.
remember Jupiter also rules pisces.

my mars is in aries and im very impulsive and aggressive which is not always a good thing..! i guess mars in pisces makes you a bit more calm when facing a situation..

Amiri: I have a hard time believing that you have a horrible time asserting yourself - lol; however, I can see you wanting to stay out of physical fights, and that is a good thing considering the rest of your chart. Taken out of context from the rest of your natal chart, Mars in Pisces does not function well, but don't be too discouraged as your Mars is aspecting every star except Jupiter, Neptune and Pluto. You have more than enough energy with all these aspects to compensate for the placement. Mars in the 4th house gives you a physically strong constitution (in Pisces, you probably have an aura of mystery & spirituality to your presence); you put lots of energy into your home environment - it must be beautiful; your childhood home was a very busy & active place (be that for good or bad); and you have a need for energy outlet through work invovling home or home-related ideas.
My husband has a Mars in Pisces in the 1st house. He has a lot of energy - sometimes I wish it was in the 4th. It is all relative Amiri.
