I dont really see the question here..? but.. being a capricorn/aquarius cusper i can agree that the scorpios in my life are over emotional whiners who take things to heart and mope around when they don't get their own way. Capricorns on the other hand can be too stubborn. Think of the zodiac signs like their elements.. scorpios are water and capricorns are earth.. which ond is more stable? earth... obviously.

Ok I would say I love scorpio best because they are so magnetic , powerful and so sexy....But since I have encountered more capricorns in my life....I will pick Cappy this time. :) Cappy is easily the best people. I am not sure about no words can hurt cappy and their unemotional and ruthless nature....that aint very true. They just hide these stuff very well.
But yes They are self-sufficient, powerful , responsible and reliable
Not sure what your question is, but I have to disagree with capricorns being unemotional and that no words can hurt them, it is all about how we react to such things...in which we tend to hide it very well. We only "appear" to be cold, detached, and unemotional.
Okay, Caps are not unemotional, it's just that most people are not able to see it. Words can hurt Caps because they take everything seriously.
I think that Scorps themselves are not intimidating but, the fact that they are so passionate cannot be handled by everyone. They are also Fixed so, I guess they're not that resilient.
Choosing between the two is a clear matter of preference but, it also depends on what the choice is going to be about. Scorpios and Capricorns are different- nevertheless they are still equal.
So, I guess unless you become more specific about the purpose of the choice, it won't be easy to make a general one.
