I've been thinking this over and over again. Ready to eliminate.
At first, I thought a cancer would be best, because its the ruler of my DC, and moon is in the 8th. But then I got a feel of what living with a cancer is like, and its not a man - but men and women are not different in this respect - and, I know that we would break up sooner or later.
I am predominant air, and only have one water in my chart, so a water person is truly not for me. So that eliminates scorpio and pisces.
Now coming to Earth - Virgoan guys are out for me - I have dated one, and seen two as friends. They leave me cold and criticized. Nothing worse than virgo criticism for thrashing Libra idealism.
Taurus is unsuitable, because Libra twists and turns conversation, but Taurus brings it back to the straight laced track. It is very frustrating for a Libra, who likes variety in conversation, to be treated with the Taurean monotone speech and mentality.
Capricorn, my hunch is no, but I have yet to live with a Capricorn. But, most cap guys love to "tease" me, and its merciless teasing without any regard for dignity. I say no way! Too authoritarian.
Fire signs, Aries, Out! I dont like being on fire, and in opposition. Sick of Aries self-centredness. Not even looking if he's pisces venus.
Leo, also out - I don't wish to live in a lion's den and play the ego game daily, no. Stepping on eggshells is not my thing!
Sagittarius, also out, because we seldom meet halfway - sag guys and I bypass each other - it must be fate.
Air - Gemini confuse the **** out of me. I have never in real life met a gemini guy who didnt spin my head five ways. One of them even made it a point to do so.
Aquarius, a possibility, but then Aquarian guys arent hardly romantic - they are more eclectic, like a new age computer.

Absolutely LOVE Taurus people!! Everything about them....sure, they're stubborn. But they're FUN and outgoing and talkative and have HUGE hearts. When they love, they love DEEPLY.
However.....I've never dated one. Been with three Sagittarius men. =/ Going to marry this third one lol I love him to death but damn, I wish he had some Taurus traits sometimes hehehe
Cancer all the way. I'm a Taurus (with a Cancer moon), and it just seems to be the perfect match. Both the Cancer and Taurus crave security, and both actually enjoy delivering it to the other. The Cancer is sensual, imaginitive and very sensitive, but still practical. Both love the home, and while both have tendencies to be moody (especially in my case), both seem to know just what to do to lift the other out of their doldrums. The Cancer tends to be needy, and the Taurus craves being needed. Some would call this co-dependency, but it works here. They're the kind who want to cling to one another, and neither partner has a problem with that.
As for other signs...no fire!!! Aries makes good friends for me, but Leo and Sagittarius grate like sand paper.
Other earth signs leave me cold (Virgos are bossy, and Capricorn is far too materialistic and task-oriented). Taurus is too stubborn...lol.
And the last two water signs, well, I thought Pisces was a good match at one point, but their secrets and lack of reality makes them incompatibly from a practical perspective. As for Scorpio, well, let's just go with the fact that they're the opposite sign of Taurus (and mean to boot).
