What happened to me, and what I am very thankful for was that I wasn't even looking after I broke up w/ my boyfriend.. and then someone just appeared!! Had never seen him around before, and we get along great. I'm so glad I was @ the right place at the righ time - eventhough I wasn't even looking...try that.. don't be looking becaue when you least expect it - someone special will appear.

Well it's not like you "find" one as though your shopping for groceries. This is my personal opinion so please don't take it wrong...
Sounds like your young for one thing, if this is the case, that's part of life. You should focus on yourself, would you date yourself? In other words, what do you have to offer in a relationship, oh, and the "Me" answer isn't what I'm referring to.
Secondly, stop looking so hard. Nothing is more unattractive than a desperate person. Potential partners can smell it a mile away and it may make you settle for someone you shouldn't be with.
Lastly relax, take a look at your good qualities and those things you need to change and start working on that. Get yourself ready as in, physically, emotionally, financially, etc. then look at yourself again and when you would date yourself, your ready. At that point though, I bet they will be standing in line.
I agree with Meaghan. The best boyfriends I've found come around when I wasn't even looking. Just be patient and it will happen. Nothing is wrong with you.
Since you posted this question in the Horoscopes section, can we assume that you're looking for a certain "sun sign" for a good boyfriend? If that's the case, why don't you list some of the characteristics you're looking for in a guy and the pros here can probably help you with your search. Once you know what "kind" of guy you want to be associated with, you can start to look for one who wants to be associated with your personality. It has to be give and take. It seems that so far you've been doing all the giving.
Stop settling, find what works for you.

If you are looking for a good boyfriend then try looking in good environment.
If u want an athletic type of boyfriend, then go to sport shops or arena. (be careful in gyms, body building doesnt mean they are athletic or real guy.)
