From my own experience I tend to get along better with those that are more like me. My opposites...i tend to be more attracted to them...there's always that little something that attracts me towards them. But anyways, as I get to know them there are things that irritate me about my opposites. haha. But that doesn't go for everyone that I know, but that's my reaction towards most. I tend to talk more with and open up to more with people if I see similarities in them that I think I have. So I tend to get along better with them. I just think that's what keeps you with them in the long run...it's weird but i've had this kind of experience and so have a few friends of mine that have met someone and gotten to know them because there are a lot of similarities. Someone in my life right now, I saw a lot of similarities in him that I see in myself and that made me comfortable enough to open up to him quicker than I did with others. There was nothing to be afraid of with him. omg....ok i gotta stop talking about him now... but it's just an example of how i can get along better with someone that is more like me than my opposite.
Oh and another guy (my "soul brother") that knows me well...and we're almost the same, we think alike...feel somewhat alike, a lot of similarities....i can talk to him about anything and everything and he understands quite well...b/c it's the same thing for him haha! We get along pretty well...and he's one of the very very very very few people that understands me so well. :)
I'll give you an example. there was a boy at my school who was the complete opposite of me and everyone told me we would make a perfect match for the small things we shared in interests. so I took the chance and went for it.... in the end it didn't work out because we were too different. Being different is something that we look forward to in a relationship because if we didn't we would be dating ourselves XD but I don't think that COMPLETELY different people will get along well
I am an Aries male and only twice in my life have I met another Aries female. We got along fabulously in many things but not lovers. I also have a Aries male friend and he and I play chess and have a great many things in common but, he annoys the hell out of me. I think opposites attract and get along better in the long run.
I don't think I know anyone with Taurus sun, Sagittarius moon and Gemini rising, but generally - my brother *not* included - I find it hard to get on with Taurus sun people anyway. Or Sagittarius moon people. Or Gemini rising people.
Maybe if those three are put together, that person's personality will be different from any of the three separate, since none of the Taurus sun or Sagittarius moon people that I've met had Gemini rising, their sun and moon would be in different houses which also has an effect on their personality. And since the house cusps and the positions of the sun moon and rising vary depending on where and when you were born, there would be too many variables to figure out if I would get along with simply a Taurus sun, Gemini rising, Sagittarius moon.
Although I suspect that when the sun and the moon are in the same houses as mine are, they would be easier to get on with.
i think it depends on the sign, respectively. i have a sun in cancer and ppl who are opposite do nothing for me b/c i get off on commanlities ( i know that's not a word) and like mindedness..now im not saying we both have eat our chicken the same way but when it comes down to thought processes and lifestyles, it's much better to have that in common. so i get along better with other water signs than anything else
