Both aries and leo are highly compatible as they belong to the fire sign.
The Aries male is a good protector, good provider and good lover. The bad side is he is agressive, egoistic, loud, abrasive, insensitive etc.
However, sometimes the sensitive leo needs a more flattering and admiring partner, which aries is not.
Both possess the razzle-dazzle, but too much of dazzle could be blinding.

If you read daft books, they are meant to be perfect. I however, lived with an Aries for 8 years, he was violent and abusive, it was a nightmare. I'm now living with a Taurus who is perfect, I couldn't be happier.

Hmmm... I pretty much doubt a Leo and an Aries. No matter who's the male, who's the female. Friendship-wise, just ok. But they tend to argue often.
Good side:
They can be helpful but you must approach them the way they don't get irritated. Cos I realise that some people, when they approach my Aries friends for help, they either get irritated or pretty pissed. In a word, annoys them.

Here we go, another question like this. Look, Leo is Fixed Fire and is more under control than Aries, which is Cardinal Fire. Leo shows high authority and a sense of acting like an adult but on a more egotistical level. Aries can spin out of control, and because it IS the very first symbol, can act very immature and childish. Leo women and Aries male, will not work. You will get tired of his self-centered attitude and always making bad decisions. Get with another Leo or a Scorpio.
