Juno is the 4th major asteroid in the asteroid belt located between Mars and Jupiter, and in line for being promoted to dwarf planet.
In mythology, Juno is basically the same person as Hera. In other words, the quintessential supreme goddess who doesn't do anything but being married to Zeus and planning schemes to make Zeus' mistresses and their offspring mysteriously disappear because she wants him all to herself and doesn't tolerate anyone near her title of supreme goddess. Very scorpionic.
However, in Astrology, Juno has a more libran or piscean meaning, if anything. The position of Juno in the house and sign signify your "perfect mate", your soulmate. In most people, it simply signifies your "type", the type that you always find yourself falling for. The aspects towards Juno signify how you deal with that mate and the circumstances that you have to consider.
In my case, Juno is in Virgo in the 9th house. Very literally taken, 9th house would stand for overseas foreign countries.
Here's a list of countries all my exes came from; Hong Kong, Scotland, Ireland, ... none of them from the European continent and all of them overseas.
Taking Juno in Virgo quite literally, my current boyfriend *is* a Virgo.
Note: I've only started studying asteroids (including Juno) half a year ago, before I had no idea what their positions in houses and signs meant. I'm with my current boyfriend for a year and obviously all the others have come before. Do the math if you want ^_^
I have Juno in Capricorn. I'm single, but I live with my father who is a Capricorn. But it's not always that literal. Juno represents what you actually need from a relationship (and usually get), Venus is what you want. Mars is your approach to sex. Just because your Juno is in Capricorn (or wherever) does not mean you'll necessarily end up with a Sun sign Cap individual. It just means you need someone who can bring those Capricorn qualities (financially responsible, mature, stable, etc.) to the relationship.
