And you couldnt even speak because people at work didnt knew you 2 dated and maybe he feels insecure on dealing with it in public... (which is nothing wrong really)
i cant help you here, because i only dealt with virgos having a bad day, by being there with them so they could talk, and say what they have to say and make them see that i care... in this case its complicated for that to happen...

Im a virgo, and i dont know maybe he's mad at you. You should probally ask him.....
maybe he was just thinkin bout somethin or since ppl at work dont kno ur dating maybe he didnt want to giv it away. but if ur sure tht he was starin at u just ask him wats up and if anything is wrong, like is he mad about somethin, or, more specifically, is he mad at u.
This is perfectly nomalfor virgo. It's as if they are in another world. Don't forget that Virgos are problem solvers and gets things taken care of once he's had time to think it out.
He may appear cold and immune to your emotions or tears, but inside he's genuinely concerned and trying to analyze what your problem is so he can help you. He cares but he shows it differently than most people.
Don't cross him or he'll pout and be out of touch until he cools down. Don't barge in or force a discussion when you see that he is thinking, give him time to break away from his thoughts. He'll come to. Virgo tend to retreat for a week at times only to come back with answers.
Even after a discussion when you think all is cool, he tends to let a few days pass and revive that conversation to the 'T' because something wasn't quite clear.
That's their nature. They analyze like a computer, and once the data is well assimilated, he feels at ease.
