Taureans like music that makes them move - it can be any sort of music, as long as it gets them moving. Their throats are the most easiest place to get ill (Tauruses will just about only get sore throats, the rest of them is quite healthy). They love singing.
If you mean "rocking" as in bed rocking, they are very sexual and physical people, but know self-restraint and respect and everything that makes a person decent. Taureans with strict parents will usually be very contrary to their horoscope - they can become selfish, narcissistic, nymphomaniacs. If they've gone to boarding school (and this is general with most zodiacs) they won't be as forthcoming. Taureans will grow into mature and independent people with strong and welcoming personalities (they usually like to be in a position where they can bring groups of people together, and help other people). They will be fun to be around, and are good mates. Taureans who undergo some terrible change can become quiet, and just the 'hi' and 'bye' person. Taureans, whether they like rock music or not...

Taurus is an Earth sign but that's not enough to make them "rockers", sorry I couldn't resist the pun. Taurus is ruled by Venus, which rules creative activity. Earth signs will manifest creative activity in a physical way, so being a musician would be a logical outcome. I personally know two musician born on May 17th, one is a Moroccan Ethnic musician, the other one a jazz pianist. Both can sing like they have golden throats. Not "rockers" as such but musicians to the bone. If a Taurus isn't an active musician they often appreciate music a lot and will have a big collection of CD/Albums, etc. Tauruses like to collect stuff.
My best friend in a Taurus female. Shes the closest thing to a "Rocker" but not there. She doesn't like the crazy types of Rock and the crazy wild behavior, but she likes Alternative Rock and dresses like an Alternative Rocker. Me I'm a Scorpio, I love the wild, crazy behavior, and am all on Rock, and Metal. Sometimes I try to make her open up her wild side but its hard as if she doesn't want to listen to the crazier types of Rock, and do the crazy behavior. Lol.
EDIT: The other Tauruses I have met do not like Rock at all. Just my experiences :)
my close friend is a Taurus and she's a rocker....lol that's just a coincidence though...i know 2 other Taurus and they are not rockers at all...they are more into reggae and hip-hop...and i know another rocker and she's a Capricorn...so it really depends
