Do scorpio's self-destruct in their pride?!

Its not about pride. Its a trust issue. They know you're wanting to help and are secretly grateful but most likely won't admit it. They are just thinking you might screw up and it will just make it worse so they decide to do it themselves where they are in control of what they do and are fully aware of it.

Im not sure... I always thought the aries were the ones with pride issues. However thats from i heard... each person really does vary.

Of course not. Are you out of your mind? Pride has nothing to do with it. The fact of the matter is, most people who are not Scorpio's have no clue whatsoever what it takes to navigate thru life with the creative energy. sexual dynamics and social stigmas that accompany Scorpio's. After knowing a Scorpio, you should consider yourself lucky that you're able to write and type and go to work.

i am a scorpio, i hate it i have so many emotions that i do not know what to do with them.
all my partners have confidence in our relationship and are happy where they are, where as i am always searching and never settled.
i think that it is not a pride thing with us, i think we do not want to look silly and weak or maybe it is just that once we do let the barriers down, we will not be able to stop.
I am a Scorpio... it;s not pride, it's wanting to keep the distance and independence at a comfort level for the particular individual.
I don't think that I've been self-destructive in my ways. I don't think it's Pride as much as the following:
1. I really CAN do it myself and I prefer to do my own work. I am NOT with teams or partners, just in general, I don't like working with others.
2. They might mess it up if I do decide to let them in. I prefer to just have it my way, and partners...you have to consider their thoughts, too.
3. If they do help, they're gonna want something in return.
4. The type of help that person is trying to give me...might not be the help I need.
Depending on the individual...the answer will vary, but those are my most typical. My daddy even gets mad at me for it...but I can't help it. His dream and happiness comes from supporting his family and caring for them in every way shape or form (I had a great daddy!) but I like having my own income and paying my own bills and such and he always used to get aggrivated with my independence. But I don't need his finances as much as I need a hug from him every once in a while. Or someone that I can talk to and get advice from...when I do need help, I'll take it..and I'll ask for what it is I need...but until then, I'm fine working hard and at times harder to get what I want. All you can do is let your friends know that you are there for them whenever they need you. THAT (with sincerity) is usually all the help a Scorpio needs to get by. Don't try to understand...just accept it. :)
i do agree that sometime on the surface it can appear that the scorpio is self destructing because of pride but in all actuality they are probably regenerating. no one really knows their strategies or plan except them, so to the untrained eye i suppose yes they do.
