Is anybody else as confused about Astrology as I am?!

I dont get all the parts of astrology either...like how it can predict the accurate future just by seeing my planets. i think those planets do have influence on our lives, but at the same time the culture we are living in also guide us to some extent to choose our paths. therefore, i wont believe astrology can predict the exact time for marriage, meeting soulmate, etc.
Lol. I don't get the rising, falling -if any-, ascending, descending. Doesn't really bothers me because people still do carry their traits.
And my readings aren't based on whatever rising etc. I gave up on the astrology book I bought regarding those. It's SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO confusing.
Remember that astrology is learning a new language that takes quite a long time to become familiar with all the terms and understand the complexities. Whatever part of it seems interesting, read more about that. Most people start with their own birth charts and branch out from there. Did you purchase the calendar on their website? It shows what the calendar will look like that includes astrological info. Maybe you're not very well versed yet with the 8 phases of the moon's 29 day cycle and how that may provide benefit for you. In a few short days on Feb 28th, the moon will enter her last quarter phase. The Last Quarter phase always evokes a crisis in consciousness. It's a conflict between what has gone before, what has yet to be, and that which inwardly gets in the way. Time to take some action outwardly and release an outmoded pattern internally.
I'm not understanding the question. What exactly is it you are not getting about astrology? Is it the symbol names, the symbol images, time of birth and\or day of birth, planets and star alignments? Here are the symbols and their rulers

Trying to learn something all at once is overwhelming, and you won't understand anything thoroughly trying to do it that way. Take your time and don't rush through it. Like with learning anything new, you want to start at the bottom. You have all the time in the world! Just familiarize yourself with the 12 signs first, because you can't understand anything else without understanding that. Take a year, and each month read about the sign of that month. Everything about it. Print out a fact sheet or something, and look at it at least once every day. When you feel like you understand the influence of each zodiac sign, move onto something else. The Houses or something. Once you fully understand the 12 signs, everything else falls into place. Astrology is supposed to be fun to learn! And it is, as long as you don't try to learn it all at once. The first thing to learn is that Astrology is so much fun.The first book I read was, "How to write your own horoscope " by Joseph Goodavage. It was a small paperback that gave you easy ways to look up your Sun Sign and Moon sign, and other planets. Then you read what they mean and then you look up your friends and really start to understand there may be something to all of this. The reason you don't understand it is because you are looking at something you don't understand and way too advanced for you. If I had started there I would of never had studied it, but that first book became a passion for other books on Astrology, and that was twenty years ago. I hope you can find the book, or an easier book so you can at least give it a try. Good Luck.
