I say Virgo. Down to earth, smart, want to help. Yes they are critical, but they don't mean it to be mean. They care in a gentler way than Cancers [who can be smothering and chubby, and it's all about their "needs"].

I don't normally be-friend Cancers, but I do have a few(2 or 3) Cancer friends. The one guy I like right now is a Cancer but he keeps pushing me away.
I'm friends with probably 6 or 7 Virgos, I be-friend them all the time.
But I respect them equally, even though Cancers are very emotional & moody they are still great friends.
It seems to me that cancer is because all of them I know are caring people but most of all they seem to be open about things and fun to be around.

Because every sign has their own qualities and after all said and done, I assume each and every one of us still belongs to the SAME human race, regardless of their sun signs.
They're both good, but you said don't judge ourselves so I'd say Virgo is just slightly better, but only by a slim margin, in that they are slightly more stable. However, a Virgo doesn't speak up enough about their emotions and can come across cool and disinterested when you may want love, and cheer and excitement. In general, they BOTH compliment each other well. They support and encourage each other.
i myself am a cancerian and i think cancerians are good cos they tend to give u your own space anmd rathere not intrude rudely..
virgo is good to but i feel saggitarius is the better of the lot..cos they 've some real sporting people in there !
I'm and Cancer and My boyfriend is a Virgo. Cancers are better if you want a wife and kids and someone to nurture you and love and care...But virgo's are good if your like *bleep* all that b.s...i dont wanna talk let's watch TV..=]

Cancer is WWWWWAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYY BETTER, Virgos just seem bitchy and picky (sorry Virgos) don't get me wrong I have a lot of Virgo friends but I would much rather be around my cancer friends.
