I do know she has an x-husband who says she is 100 percent fake...she's claiming now..that her grandchild or grandchildren are psychic...I've read alot of her books..but I don't know about Sylvia..I've done alot of research on her..going way back...well...no comment!

I've wanted to ask that question myself.
I think she is nothing more than an entertainer. There is no one on this earth who can possibly see the future. I just don't buy into that. She's a skilled B.S.er who got a big break from Montel.
If you enjoy watching her for entertainment purposes only and don't take her seriously that's o.k. But some of the people in Montel's audience seem to eat that stuff up.
Soon she'll have another book out to add to the throngs of books she's already written(probably with the help of a ghost writer).

Apparently she said something about it not being Obama's year this year (not completely wrong or confirmed, but he's probably now going to win the nomination and the presidency). I saw her only once and my thought was: Wow, she has no idea what she's talking about. I believe in psychics, but she is not one of them.
No one in the history of the world has ever proved any paranormal ability or occurrence. There is a million dollar prize waiting but you only have two more years to claim it.

It turns out the poor girl died hours after she was kidnapped, but how must her family have felt hearing that pack of lies from that con artist?
How comforted were Shawn Hornbeck's parents were to hear that their son was dead when he wasn't?!
I know she says she can't be right all the time, but why would you say that to desperate parents unless you were 100 percent certain? Its unspeakably cruel.
Shawn's parents have also said that she offered to give them a further reading for a fee! That is deplorable.
