it could be true in circumstances. the ascendant is the face that we show to the world, our personality, our first impressions, why do you think the ascendant has anything to do with the way we look, it gives us the opportunities that we ought to have, situations and even people we meet.
imagine portraying a specific zodiac in physical form, although aries ascendants are the ones who ussualy attract violence, and them seeking confrontations doesnt help either.
but aspects to your ascendant would determine how its fully expressed, good aspects could give you the most/best parts of the sign, squared or opposition aspects could give you struggles and obstacles related to that sign.
anyway how old are you, if your 18 or so im sure you can answer that yourself by now based on what youve been through

I don't know who said that, but most likely it came from a little pocket book on astrology. There are so many factors in a chart which can influence/attract violence or danger. It takes several planetary aspects, placements and other factors to suggest attraction to violence. There is also free will! No one is bound to their chart. In fact, we live in a time where many people are spritually moving BEYOND astrology. God has given each of us a soul which is far more powerful & lasting than the movement/placements of heavenly bodies.
they say its true, but my sun conjucts my venus and my venus conjucts my ascendant which are in scorpio and my taurus moon which makes me down to earth and with that you value harmony and are quite polite to people. i can attract violence sumtyms but that is because i always stick up for myself and anyone i care about cos i dont take crap from no1, and there are some people who think they can tread over anyone and that is when it gets nastyy! i think iv onlyu ever scared people away when theyve deserved it, but i like my scorpio rising, it shows people im not 1 2 be messed with and akes me very brave and courageous. and ye tom cruise is a freak!
No, not really. Sorry to let you down. Scorpio risings ARE intense though. Some people don't like that, 'specially the phony types.
