Well, I'm a Libra who's dated a Virgo, and my younger sister is a Virgo. I've also dated an Aquarius, so I know about that sign as well. Virgos are Earth Signs and need practicality and security. Air Signs are not good at providing this, to be honest. My Virgo ex was always trying to get me to fit his mold for the perfect girlfriend, and I'm just me, I can't be changed. My sister has much stricter standards than I do when it comes to dating. He has to make a good living, be decent looking, spoil her, give her space when she needs it, be hard-working, organized, and so on and so on. I more just want a clean guy who I can have a decent conversation with and who has a good sense of humor. Virgos know what they want and will not settle for less (and actually that's a good thing; I wish I had that). Aquarians are very smart, which Virgos will like that, as they are intellectual as well. But the Aquarians aren't very practical. At least, not in this time. They are 50 years ahead of everyone else. To a fellow flighty Air Sign, like yours truly, it's fascinating and brilliant. To a practical, organized Earth Sign, like the Virgos, it's weird and far-fetched. And Aquarians are very stubborn (it's the Fixed Sign thing). They think they are right and that's that. If you don't understand where they are coming from (and the Virgo won't understand), the Aquarian will feel isolated and will become reclusive to the Virgo. Virgos, when in a relationship, need to know that their partner is there for them when they need them and will hate it when Aquarius needs long periods of seclusion. If the Virgo has some Air in their chart or if the Aquarius has some Earth in their chart, it could help the situation. Generally, it isn't the greatest of matches, but anything can work. The Virgo just needs to understand that the Aquarius makes sense in their own unique, zany way. And the Aquarius needs to understand that the Virgos ways are very insightful and useful in current society. Good luck!
i'm an aquarius, and my ex-boyfriend was a virgo. we were together for two years, and had a wonderful relationship. we both enjoyed going out and just hanging around one another. we lived together for about a year an a half, but decided to split up since i went off to another college. i still consider him to be my first great love. our sex life was adequate, although i've felt strong sexual desires with other signs, but we were very affectionate. cuddly and warm, though not too passionate. we enjoyed talking to each other and exchanging ideas the most. he was more of a pessimist (common of a virgo) and i was more of an optimist (common of an aquarian). but we balanced each other out so well. i would describe our relationship as friendship on fire. we were definitely lovers, but we were more of pals who loved each others company. our greatest downfall was that i was more freedom loving and social, while he was more of a homebody and only had a few very close friends. i would say that they are fairly compatible, even with the few problems. but be warned! we aquarians are detached by nature and are often in our own little worlds. don't think that just because we are forgetful and don't like to show our emotions, that we don't care deeply. we do. good luck with everything!
