Tarot card: The Devil reversed. Question was, how does he feel for me?!

Question: He's resisting temptation?

Answers: He's resisting temptation?

While I am not a big fan of reversals; I am a big fan of both the Devil card and the Tower. As long as I am not reading for myself :) I have a Taurus ascendant and do not like change :)
I read from the Thoth deck and have a 1941 black and white copy from the Agape lodge hanging on my wall . I really am a fan of the card and as Pisces appreciate a good hedonist when I see one :)

So the Devil card in all of it's misunderstood glory. He is Pan and Capricorn. To miss the male member imagery on the card means you are willfully doing it. He is potent raw sexuality, without a concious or any concept of consequences. Sometimes that is absolutely glorious in and of itself.

When you couple that with the Tower of Mars you are working on change without a net. The Tower is struck by some disaster of the flaming mouth (the Hebrew letter Pey meaning mouth is also on the card).

So basically you are working on just following animal lust without regards to how that will impact either of your current life situations. It is firey and passionate but if you do not look where you are going you will bounce when you finally hit the ground. No matter how far that looks right now it can RAPIDLY approach.

Good luck and enjoy!

he as in your bf/husband? .... weakness..blindness...what are the other cards?

idk. maybe.

You are right about this card having to deal with greed, temptation, illness, perversity, bondage to the material or to the wrong ideals.

However when reversed, it means more than the resistance of temptation. It has possibly to do with emotional blackmail in this situation as well, since feelings are involved. Also, there could be an emotional bondage to a person or situation in this case.

All in all, I see this as a serious warning about the abuse of personal power, money, sex or personal charm. You, or the other person, could have become obsessed with any of the above mentioned. This reversed position can also indicate addiction or perverted behavior. There is a possibility of dishonesty or scandal involved between the parties.

I wanted to answer this...but honestly, Scarab did a great job!

You are looking at both the Trickery & Crisis cards....upside down is showing it's a greater force than normal.
