A quick check with the charts (assuming that it is North America) shows that your son is a Sun sign Scorpio with a Leo Moon, so no..that doesnt make him a 'double Scorpio'...
A Double Scorpio means that the Sun and Moon placements both fall in the sign of Scorpio, making him one intense little creature. The moon placement is actually in its detriment in Scorpio so it's a good thing that he doesnt have this placement. A Leo Moon will grant him generosity of heart and he will be expressive and generally warm-hearted when he grows up.
