Only if you can take the truth, both good and bad...the lines on the palms show where we have been, where we are, and where we are going. However, free will is always at our own disposal so if you don't like certain aspects of how your life is unfolding, make a conscious effort to change that part of yourself. The lines in turn will change accordingly to the changes in your thinking and actions.
Yes, both lines on the palms can look drastically different - this is similar to how your Ascendant falls into a vastly different sign from your Sun sign. So these *wrinkles* can vary on both palms. It's just different modes of operation we have in the external (outer) and internal (inner) world. We may be a social recluse but an active participant in domestic affairs or vice versa. This explains for the appearance of more *wrinkles* on one palm than the other.

if you believe it you are exactly the gullible character that palm readers love to rip-off.
if someone has lines on their foreheads, what does that tell you? that person could have been a worrier.
if you smile more, the crevaces that make your smile deepens, its just muscular activity, and if you keep using it that way, it would make its mark.
the same idea in palmistry, only its a bit more complex.
they say that we subconsciously make these lines on our palms, palmistry doesnt neccesarily tell us about our future, but it tells us about our past, and what we have done in our past could easily be what the person we are now, and how we will end up in the future.
