When reading palms, which hand should be used?!
Question: My lines look totally different on my right than my left.
on my right my life line is short, and on my left my life line is very dark and long.
Also does it matter which hand to use based on if you are right or left handed?

Regardless of whether you are a right or left hander, the right hand represents your 'outer world', how you portray yourself to others whom you don't know well, and how others perceive you such as colleagues, aquaintances etc. It is common for lines on both palms to look drastically different.
The left hand represents your 'inner world', how you interact with people whom you feel the closest to on an emotional level i.e. spouse, family, best friends etc.
When the life line is very dark and long on your left hand, this is a good sign. This means that your innate vitality and life constituition is very strong. When your life line is in good shape, it means that you will sail through life well despite the hardships and difficulties encountered. You have an inner strength and resilience that keeps you going despite the odds.
When the life line on your right hand is short, this means that when it comes to social interactions or work, you lack stamina and vitality in these areas. You are rather cautious and not a very adventurous or active participant in the outer world events if you have a short lifeline on the right palm.
