yep. It makes sense though. For humans to think we can read-into anything and fully understand those kinds of things is kind of silly (well, you could, but it's rarely ever right)

You cannot prove that the people in power back then weren't able to pick and choose what they wanted to include and exclude or even alter to keep themselves in power.
If you believe in God then you should believe in Him and that He loves everyone, whether or not they follow what was written over a thousand years ago by people. People who wanted THEIR way to be the only way and STAY the only way. There are so many things I know to have been written in the Bible that are not followed and people are so quick to absolve themselves from the mistakes or sins they commit yet are unrelenting to other people around them who do the same!!
It's so easy to say look what God said about astrology because it isn't something you use to help others, but I'm sure you "forget" about all the stuff that YOU do that God supposedly said in the Bible that isn't allowed! Especially when you don't check the WHOLE Bible to see what else it says.
I know that God isn't mad at me for using something that helps people find out about who they are (at no cost with no stings attached unlike lots of religious institutions) and what they are good at to help give to the world, making the planet a better place and helping to take care of the precious planet that we are destroying.

OMG astrology is NOT divination! There can be generalities that the position of the planets have proven in pattern, this is not fortune telling, this is learning from the past and helping people in terms of how to deal with certain situations and times that can be confusing or beneficial for them! But most importantly it is a way to tell about a person's personality! Get off your high horse!

If people want to believe that astrology has an influence on their lives, let them. Don't go shoving religion down their throat telling them "it's wrong and you're gonna burn in hell for believing it!" That's not true, and it's very annoying. k and did you know the bible also says you can keep slaves, make women live in tents during their period, can't eat unclean animals (those without cloven hooves, shellfish, etc), and should sacrifice animals to him, etc etc etc. sweet. let's all live like they did back then!!! and for the record, it doesn't say anywhere that there were only three wise men at Jesus' birth, although there were three different types of gifts brought. It also does not say that Jesus was born on Dec 25th, and there were not 2 of each animal on the ark -- there were 2 of each unclean animal, and 7 of each clean animal. sorry, bit off topic but it amazes me how so many people can miss those simple facts.
