Since pluto is not a planet anymore, do we still consider it in astrology?!

Question: For practising astrologers, yes. If we were to erase planets according to Science's astronomical classification, then the practice of Astrology would come under serious threat!
Pluto is still a planet but considered a 'dwarf' planet instead.

Since Pluto is an outer planet, it is often not given that much emphasis. But nevertheless, it is a powerful force whose effects cannot be denied. In fact, powerful aspects like Venus-Pluto often reveal soul mate relations from a past life etc.

Pluto rules transformation, our ability to reinvent ourselves, subconscious drives and forces/changes. It reveals rejuvenation, crisis beginnings and endings. Whenever it lands in our charts is what it tears down to rebuild. It repairs and resurrects. Without Pluto, we would be walking garbage cans with tons of pent up issues.

Yes. The basis of astrology is the effect of the gravitational pull planets have on you at a given time. Although Pluto is no longer considered a planet, it still has gravity and will still affect or not affect you the same as it always has.

Wonders how many astronomers are also astrologers...
In 2006, the International Astronomical Union ruled that Pluto should be considered a dwarf planet.

In any event... Pluto, the "dwarf planet", still packs a powerful one-two knockdown-it's all-over-punch in my book. It has, and still does, represent the archtypical energy of death, re-birth and evolution.

That's a good question. Here is my opinion on Pluto. Everybody says that it isn't a planet anymore . What happened? It's not in our solar system or somebody towed it to another galaxy.
If you are stamped at birth with so many different energies, why should part of those energies disappear ?

If you were born with Pluto in your chart, it's effect will remain with you. It's just like Saturn in a young person's chart, you feel its affect over 45 yrs old. Same with Jupiter, at age 40 and over.
As for Pluto, look in the house where he is placed. If you want to know if his effect are there, just keep in mind that Pluto destroys everything in that house but only to regenerate them again.
Pluto in 7th can destroy marriages but, give you another change to remarry if you have learnt your karma.
In 2nd house of finance, he can put you bankrupt but only to restart stronger, worry free, no debt.
In house 12, he can bring out in the open, what was hidden in the closet so you can start new again, wiser etc....
In house 3, the lower education during our early years in school, he can flunk you and hope that you study harder to pass your grade.
