both of them are dangerous.
dec 22 - a capricorn - ur polar opposite - u will either love or hate each other to death. there's no mid way. if, in case, he happens to be in tune with ur personality, then you will be the best couple on the earth. If not, the most unhappiest. Don't beleive me? You gotta take a look at my parents.
feb 18 - aquarian - run away. aquarians hate to show their emotions and don't stop to smell the flowers. A typican cancerian needs endearments of love, both emotionally and visibly. An aquarian will never give what u want.
Emotionally, another water sign (Pisces, Scorpio or even Cancer) will probably GET you most.
However, I think that an Earth sign will do you right! Especially a Capricorn who is your opposite, because those tend to attract more than they repel! :)
A Taurus would be good for you, although both of you can be a bit bossy and be in "take charge" mode!
A Virgo may be nice if you can get past them being critics a bit too often. All of us can be affectionate, but if that's really what you're looking for, then look into a Taurus first, then a Virgo.
I say go for a Capricorn or a Taurus.
Make sure you don't totally let the signs lead the way; any sign, even a Pisces and Gemini can make it in love, which stereotypically, could be disastrous mostly.
If you love each other, then chances are you will make it fine more or less, regardless of the signs.

Edit: Sorry. TOTALLY ignored what you wrote. OK. Aquarius or Sagittarius, eh? If those are the choices, then I say go with the Sagittarius. They tend to be more emotionally available and although a bit wishy washy at times, they can be the light in your day, and will provide few dull moments. They (He) will keep it interesting for sure! =)
My best relationship has been with a Sag. It was short, only about eleven years (and to a cancer that is a short time to know a person) and it was on and off. He had the power to make me feel like a beautiful and special princess. He is the only one who ever made me feel that way. I never even dated him, we just fell in love, and every one around us knew it. I lost him about a year ago, but he is definitely my best realtionship I have ever experienced. shhhhhh just don't tell my husband!!! He knows about him, just not how deep I loved him.
