Question: Anyone can be a killer, but this is a good question. I took a look at the first 100 prison inmates in the state of florida that were in for Murder crimes and discovered something very disturbing.
Statistics show that Earth signs are more violent, with Air second and Water not even close to any of the other 3.

This is a Scorpio influence primarily, but when it is negatively aspected by other malefics.

The zodiac sings are not responsible here, but the negative thoughts of mind turn a person so.
I think if I have to choose a particular sign, it would be Scorpio; however, I believe that the aspects are more indicative of criminal minds. (e.g. saturn square or inconjunct pluto; mars square or inconjunct pluto; pluto or mars square or inconjunct the midheaven) The closer the orb and the more there are of these aspects, the greater the risk.
I always suspected Scorpio Suns, but apparently Aries, Virgo and Libra tie with Scorp for first place in this study.
Notice that Mercury in Scorpio outnumbers the others, though. Since Mercury rules thoughts and ideas, and Scorpio rules death and rebirth, makes sense, but still a bit of a surprise.
