Question: I've always noticed that on the Horoscope questions there is always someone who has to go and say something like Astrology is fake and blah blah blah...so my question is if ya'll don't believe in it then why are you in this catagory? What's the point? Thanks..I just wanted to vent a little, I mean it is kind of irritating!

This is such a good question!
I have no idea why it enrages them so much that they can't convince us it's not real.
They come across as childish and idiotic. And then they get even more pissed and run around thumbs downing people like we even care!
Wow, I'm glad to see that some people have their head on the right way! Sheesh. As to the people who are like "OMG guys some stars might not even be there anymore even though we can still see the light...." Let me clarify for you, astrology has nothing to do with stars that far away. Learn about something before you open your mouth and sound ignorant. Last time I checked, Mars is still there...
And people need to start learning astrology terms before they start using them incorrectly and sounding like even bigger morons. There is a huge difference between a "horoscope" and a "daily horoscope."
Personal horoscopes based off of accurate birth charts ARE real, daily horoscopes are general and just for fun and NOT real.
If a horoscope (personal ones...I feel like I need to state this for the slow ones) doesn't seem right, people are so quick to say "ASTROLOGY ISN'T REAL!" but they fail to realize that their birth info could be wrong. Hospitals get is wrong sometimes, people get it wrong sometimes. Don't blame the science for human error.

It is probably because they are semi curious about horoscopes, but at the same time are too skeptical to give it a serious chance. So they end up leaving negative comments. Horoscopes just aren't for everyone. I read mine daily, it right half the time. I don't take them too seriously but am always willing to at least read them. Its only 15 seconds out of my day right? So why not give it a read.
Maybe because it is easy to say that. However, I also don't believe in horoscopes. The thing is that the positions of stars have changed since the time they have established zodiac, and then some stars may even be not there anymore, but we still see the light. It's just not accurate after all and it doesn't make sense at all. I just think people who make predictions on weekly or even daily basis, do it on hunch. Or even they just write for fun, like fiction.
But I guess it's like faith for some people. And we should respect that and not laugh at it. I just hope that some people would more of that faith in themselves.
Some of them think that we'll convert to their religions. Some of them just want to boast their opinions. Some of them think it's funny. Some of them are just born antagonizers. Some are sick in the head. Some are psychotics. Some are twisted. Some have over-inflated egos.
And all of them were never asked in the first place!

fyi your question was not in the horoscope catagory it was in open questions. And horoscopes are fake. One prediction cannot possibly hold true for every person under the same sign and mine have never been right. It is entertainment value, thats all. And if you don't believe me, the day I made my first 1/4 million dollar commission in real estate my horoscope said to change jobs because my career wasn't going to take me where I wanted to go. I have been a successful agent for 12 years now.

horoscopes are cool and im real curious about them -- there is some truth to them its a fact. although theyare generalizations. i only think theres truth to the personality ones not the 'what will happen this month' predictions. although i do read them just for kicks!

It's HIGHLY irritating. But they can't fathom that 1 out of 12 people, with different signs are all going to be quite different, yet have some traits that will be the same. They get even more puzzled when two people, who are Aquariuses will tend to be similar in some ways because their birthdays are close to each other.
I can't really explain why this is. But they're EVERYWHERE! I just thumb them down every time unless they explain their point to where I can at least half-agree. (:
I'll admit that I'm an ignorant person. Where can an open-mind person such as myself get some answers instead of having to believe blindly? How about those that know astrology, start enlighten us? If you can't answer our doubts, please link us to someone that can. How about answering with facts that we can checkout and make our choices? Just because we are ignorant, it does not mean we don't want to know the truth?
