Wow, Slow Genius already put up some great info, so I will try my best. He made great points about how some astrologers will tell you all the wrong things (these are the people who give astrology a bad name!) and that anything CAN work, GREAT advice!
I personally look at just Moon signs and Venus signs for beginners because it can be quite overwhelming with all these new terms and I always ignore Sun signs.
Cafe Astrology is the easiest to navigate through and one of the best sites I have come across for compatibility. I personally think Taurus Moons are great (not just cause that's my moon sign) but because they seem easier to understand and are usually straightforward with their feelings.
Good Moon matches are: Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn, Pisces (Libra, Cancer, and Scorpio aren't too difficult either)
More difficult Moon matches are: Aries, Gemini, Leo, Aquarius, and Sagittarius.
Good Venus matches are: Cancer, Scorpio, Capricorn, and Taurus
More difficult Venus matches are: Sagittarius, Aries, Gemini, and Aquarius
No match is perfect, but some seem to just flow a lot easier than others. Just because you find yourself in a relationship that has conflicting Moon or Venus signs doesn't mean it won't work, it just means you have to be more compassionate and understanding when it comes to your differences!
virgo and pisces get along great, and so someone with venus in pisces would be wonderful for you. also, since your mars is in leo, someone with a fire mars would be good, particularly if their mars trines your mars. that would mean when together, your energies are positive and harmonious. the sun isn't all to important.....anything CAN work, it just takes more work for some. naturally sagittarius is good, as is gemini. for taurus moon, definately find a water moon. and particularly cancer or pisces, as then a sextile of signs forms, meaning great emotional potential in a positive way. as for rising, another earth or water. even libra is good. possibly also leo, since you have a leo sun and would understand the fiery personality
but really, just have fun. i know some astrologers will say "oh no....this has to be here and this will never work and this is all wrong, oh! what are you doing....." etc. etc. you have to have compatibility...complete opposites is never good, it's an uphill battle. but even though i just mentioned someone "great" for you, A) those aren't the only qualities that would work and B) good luck actually finding something that specific. if you can then pursue it.....definately, because it will undoubtedly have potential (and if there's alot of good aspects, it's makes it even smoother). but just be careful to avoid some things. don't chase after any old pisces venus or cancer moon....make sure there is "more" than that.

You will not go well with a another Leo sun sign that is for sure. You will go well with Virgo sun or Capricorn sun. Maybe even a Scorpio or Cancer sun.
