What happens when Mars is exalted, but in the 12th house?!
Question: My Mars is exalted in 12 degrees Capricorn, in my 12th house.
It's just below (however, viaually, it's above) the ascendant, which is at 19 degrees Capricorn.
Since the 12th house is the house of Secrets and "behind the scenes" stuff, does this kind of snuff my Mars? If not, how does it affect my Mars?
---If it matters, my Mars is conjunt my Neptune (13 degrees Caprcorn, 12th house), and with an orb of influence my Uranus (8 degrees Capricorn, 12th house)

with exalted planets, the energies of the planet are of course "harmonious". the function well in the sign they are in, even though it is not the natural placement. So, with your mars being in capricorn, i'd say you express your energies well. Then you bring in the 12th house. As you said the 12th house is mainly "behind the scenes". so mars here indicates that there is a tendency to repress your anger. this is what must be overcome from this placement. try to "temper your temper". however, the fact that it is in capricorn will make things easier as you have much ambition to overcome this obstacle.
mars conjunct neptune indicates a very powerful meeting of energies. you have the ability to manifest what you desire and possibly have psychic healing abilities, which of course lie dormat until their potential is realized. a dark side to this aspect is scattered energy and odd romantic involvements. maintain good health; don't let escapism reign supreme. you are in charge of your anger, and you must manifest it's energies properly.
and i agree with polar bear in that you must look at other things. neptune and uranus are also going to be influencial since they accompany mars here. look at where aries is; what house it rules. also, look to the 1st house. find any indications there. do they back this up, or change the course? what are the stronger influences? so much to take into consideration. i wish i had the whole chart, but maybe this clears it up a bit.

That is also the house of undoing and dissolution and and a Capricorn mars is not about that at all..but the conjunction with Neptune makes it even stronger but with such a close proximity of the ascendant , could be strong in some ways but frankly am raking my brains here..
Look at your other stuff.......rule of 3 ?? You have 2 of each already. 12th house + Neptune and also Mars almost in its own house..Look at Saturn..Anything else in Pisces etc., 10th house ?
You could be working as a spy for the government or ..yahoo lol :-)
PS: you just described your Mars pretty well ( ideal male in a woman's chart) among other Mars' functions.
