Calling those with Natal Mercury Retrograde or with heavy Mercurian influences i!
Question: As you know, Mercury Retrograde is currently wrecking havoc in the communicative sign of Aquarius. It is supposed to affect everyone to a certain extent but I am curious about individuals that fall into these specific categories:
1. Natal Mercury Retrograde - I am born with this myself and it has been said that we cope better than those born with Mercury in Direct motion because we are innately tuned 'inwards' and have less trouble assessing our right-brain functions during the MR period.
2. Mercury-ruled natives - Virgos, Geminis, or those with heavily influenced Mercurian traits i.e. Virgo/Gemini Ascendant, Moon etc.
Since MR is in Aquarius, interpersonal communication is supposed to be the one area that is hardest hit. If you are in one/both of the above categories, how are you coping with MR right now? Do you feel a need to deal with unresolved issues from the past, reconnect with people from the past i.e. doing the REs - reflect, rethink, reevaluate etc?

I am a virgo(sun,mercury and mars in virgo..) with aquarius ascendant... I feel exausted-so tired without doing anything special,not in a good mood.. Nervous...I think Retrogate mars in 25 degrees of gemini affected me(my sun is in 25 degrees of virgo..)can't communicate with anyone...! And have facing problem with computers this week :) ! I was giving an exam on programming staff(i study computer engineering..) and though i had studied well, in my opinion, i misunderstood questions and during the exam the program i was using shut down, for NO reason at all!!! And this is the second time i am answering this question... :) while i was answering it before i was "kicked out" from "answers"...
I think it can only get worse when saturn will get close to my sun in the 8th house..

I'm a gemini sun, and yeah i know how frustrating these retrogrades can be and almost always are. However right now I feel that things are pretty normal; no major trouble in communications. Of course, I'm practically waiting for something to happen heh heh.......it always does. I believe it will trine my natal mercury in a few days, so that will be good. But at the same time it will square my pluto, so I'm not really ready for that. I suppose that although it's usually a big deal for everyone including me, right now things are smooth.
By the way, Mercury is direct for me natally.
I don't really think that I'm in either of the above categories, natal Merc is direct in scorpio conj. IC, but I am getting the chance to reflect a bit more with this one. Usually during merc. retro, I'm just late(r than usual) for everything, but Merc went retro on top of my desc. this time around, which is conj. natal moon, which is square natal mercury. Neptune's also hovering around my moon. At the end of last week (after a week of missing buses on a daily basis, sometimes more than one a day, haha) I got a call from someone from my past that I really didn't expect to hear from....so maybe I need to re evaluate that, huh?
As far as coping with the current Mercury retro, I'm actually kind of liking this one so far, a second look at things is in order I think. I like getting second chances to see where things went wrong the first time and whether or not (and how) they can be resolved. And it really doen't bother me to be late, anyhow. I've always thought that the universe would get me where I need to be when I need to be there, so I don't tend to stress about that too much. Punctuality is not one of my strengths.

Mercury retrogrades never affect me negatively - thank god.
My Info: Natal mercury in virgo is direct however it is squared my ascendant, conjunct my MC, and i have north node in my 3rd house - communications have been an enormous area of concentration in my life, also because I grew up with a stutter.
What's happening now: MR in Aquarius is supposedly in my 7th house as I'm a leo sun. One thing so far has happened - I contacted a very good old friend of mine who I walked out on last summer. I was pissed at them but now we're back to being good friends. Yay for retrogrades I guess.
Gemini Rising here.............don't feel like talking/communicating much at the moment. Feeling a bit emptied out.
