they're usually so general they could apply to anyone
and they're usually in the form of advice, which doesn't even involve any kind of psychic interpretation!!
they're cheap, useless, a waste of space and ink
anyway, that's my hypothesis. but you never know, they could really be the word of god. Just as likely as anything else.
anyway, you could test out your question. read your horoscope at the end of the day and see if it had any relevance at all.

horoscopes...are they accurate?... accurate not 100% .. just 40 to 50%.. this mean don't mean useless mumbo jumbo.. see, for accurate tellers are there, but no one tells accurate details for getting accurate results. see, one say he born 16.8. time 6.05 p.m. place somewhere. but, correct birth time not known and he gives approximate time..sometimes it is told by the nurse..her watch may fast or slow.. to get accurate results from the horoscope, the birth time is most important. If time not given properly, the accurate result reduces to 40 to 50%. But, one thing, there are very able personalities there to tell and hence, it is accurate.
yes 50%....it's like u've to match things which are relevant to u when u see ur horoscope..
That all depends upon the individual astrologer. Horoscopes based solely on one's sun sign are not in depth enough to be completely accurate all the time. However, horoscopes based upon an individual's entire chart are incredibly accurate - always dead on in my experience.

Well it can be either. But I can tell you that any horoscopes in newspapers, or magazines will most likely be made up. However if you find the right recourse they can prove to be very accurate! :)
Astrological readings have everything to do with how accurate your birth information is. If you provide an exact birth time, along with a birth city and date, the decriptions tend to sound like you. On the other hand, should you provide a guess time of birth, the information may not seem true at all. Astrology is about numbers and mathematical configuratons with a helping of artistic interpretation given by the individual astrologer. Only you know if what is said rings true for you.
some are accurate but mostly its mambo jumbo, its reading the stars, ill say its more believable if they would reach the stars they are reading.
Here is a site that is about testing astrology. It can and has been tested often. It fails to do better than chance.
