Ok- so, I've been down this route before (I'm the Cap, he was the Libra). It is a verrrrry difficult one, because:
1. You need a stable relationship, they need a social, changeable one
2. You need to store up material comforts, and can be an introvert- while they love to spend, and talk to everyone. My significant other LOVED to party, while I felt completely out of place at the type of parties he liked.
3. You enjoy close friendships with a chosen few, while they love to be friends with anyone and everyone, and most of their friendships aren't that deep. (Not meaning to offend Libra- this is a Cap's observation)
4. Ok, well, this last one was a major problem, but it had less to do with his and my sun signs as other signs in our charts: communication! I have heard that Libras are excellent communicators (which supposedly can be a problem for Cap, as we tend to be more quiet), however, my Sag is in Mercury- so I talk A LOT. He did not. In fact, he thought it was fine to go for days without talking. Which didnt help my Cappy self with my need for security.
My Cap-Libra experience was disastrous. However- some tips that may help you:
1. pay attention to other signs in your chart, which may help balance.
2. Libras are very beautiful, social creatures- they really enjoy complements. Learn to take a few from them as well.
3. Let Libra show you a good time at parties- mine loved to play social host.
4. Communicate! Communicate! Communicate!
5. Finally, be wary of trying to force Libra to make up their mind- this is one of the most ridiculous things to attempt.

Seriously-- do some self examination and get a grasp on critical thinking.
While most compatibility charts would not say this is the ideal match, it hasn't been bad for me. I'm a Libra and haven't dated many Caps, but my family members who are Caps are the ones I get along with best. Just don't be too stubborn, and expect to get a bit more social (if you're not already). :-)

Wow...I am a Capricorn technically, but none of these other people's things are like me at all. Do you like this person that is a Libra? Why not take these peoples advice and then try it out and see if it works. Experimentation is the only way to know if it will work or not. If it doesn't write a diary entry and graph out certain qualities/astrological prediction. Then you can make informed decisions on your own.
When it comes to romance we all view people very differently than how we do when they are simply a friend. Suddenly Capricorn sees Libra’s love of glamor and fizzy socializing as sweet and cute.
