Birthdate Numbers 4 & 8: Heavy Karmic Debts?!
Question: This is taken from one of my most fav astrologers of all-time, Linda Goodman. In her book, she states that Numbers 4 & 8 are the Numbers of 'Fate, Destiny & Karma' as hard luck seems to pursue those whose birthdates fall under 4 & 8, when reduced to a single number (4th, 8th, 13th, 17th, 26th & 31st).
It is said that the number has been chosen by the Higher Self (Soul or Spirit), realizing that there are heavy karmic debts to be balanced, which have been delayed or procrstinated for too many lifetimes.
As one born on the 31st, I certainly feel it to be true in my case. It seems that I have had more than usual blows of fate and emotional sadness thrown in my path, delays and setbacks of all kinds too.
This question also coincides with a celebrity's death today - Heath Ledger who was born on 04/04/79.. double 4 = 8, double the intensity.
Has anyone born on a 4 or 8 day felt the same way before? I would love to hear your thoughts and views. Thanks.

I have a friend whose birthday is Feb 17 who actually does well with the numbers 4 and 8. 8, I believe, is her favourite number if I remember correctly. I wonder if those numbers actually work better for you guys than they do for the rest of us in some cases...I wouldn't say that my friend has suffered greatly through fate, in fact I would say that fate and karma have been more in her favour than anything else. She doesn't lead a ridiculously lucky life, but certainly others have it far worse. My aunt was born on Dec. 4th, and she seems to be doing well for the most part now, although in her teen years and childhood, this could have been a very different story. I wasn't there, so I couldn't say for sure...odds are that she may very well support your opinion here, though.
I, on the other hand, lack 4's and 8's (I was born on the 30th, my life path number is a 25/7, and so on) and I find that I personally have a brutal time with 4's and 8's. I don't mesh well with that energy, and try to avoid it as much as I can. It's always a bad time when my address reduces to 8 or 4:( Pretty sure that every home I lived in while I was growing up was either a 4 or an 8, too:p. I've been told that I have double Saturn in my chart, so that may very well have something to do with it. 8's a Saturn number, isn't it?
Makes sense to me anyhow, being influenced by Saturn, that you'd be influenced the same way by these numbers as one who has their birthday on a date that reduces to one of these numbers. What do you think?

Well those born on the 4th, 13th, 22nd and 31st of any month are ruled by the number 4 and the erratic planet, Uranus. Those born on the 8th, 17th and 26th are ruled by the number 8 and the planet Saturn. Yes, I have often felt this way, even though I was born on February 20. My mother interpreted something last night to. She had a dream of a man who was running away from cameras and the famous spotlight and had a serious mental issue. This is of course had to have been Heath Ledger trying to say something: he was tired and wanted to sleep. Being that Heath was an Aries, he was ruled by Mars and Uranus, because of the number 4 influence. Those ruled by the number 4 are characterized as rebellious and argumentative, whereas those ruled by the number 8 are characterized as cold, detached and have a slow changing personality.
