Don't count on him ever coming back, well maybe once, but still. Just make it his lost. Focus on your own life and make him regret leaving you, especially if it is for a dumb reason.
One thing that Caps get upset over is when they destroy someones dignity and that person gains that and their pride back and uses it to better themselves. You do that and I guarantee he will come back. You've heard the saying "it's okay to lose your pride over someone, but not okay to lose someone over your pride". Pride itself is a status symbol for Caps. When they see pride, they see you, they want to be with you.

well it depends on what the grudge is about. It's takes some time and willingness from the Capricorn . he needs reassurance that it is really in the past. Capricorn forgive in time but we always still think about it.
well i am a capricorn, and sometimes i do get angry even over small things. what i cant stand is holding grudges though, even though sometimes i think its necessary depending on the situation. i almost always do the apologising over a arguement, and sometimes i regret it, and it piles onto the back of my mind and can drive me to go crazy basicly from all the bullsh!t. but i think if u apologise and sincerely show how much u really do mean it, then in his heart, he will forgive u, but still will want to hold the grudge for a while, just to get the hurt off the back of his mind. give it time, it will work. good luck!
they do have a hard time with forgiving the past, do you forgive easily, they can take things quite serious, from one who is, they need more fun things to do......of course they should not take things so personal eather.....but they do......good food helps.......pacifing is a wast of time.......their life is a mission of goodness and fairness........and we all speak from our own dream........share in the dreams, their better than reality
Capricorns are extremely faithful so they often get very jealous. If they loose their temper they often can't find it again. That past thing is difficult, they spend a lot of time there. Being perfectionists, its easier to perfect the past (impossible) than live in an imperfect present. If he is worth it and you can put your arms around him, tell him you love him but you can't live in that past with him. Don't do this a lot,

Okay, from a Cap perspective, the bad news is that Capricorns can be petty people at times. Unless they have more outgoing, optimistic influences in the charts, the average Capcricorn won't take hurts, slights or criticism (even imaginary ones) lightly.

Marie is exactly right. It depnds on what it is--and even if they come around--it will always be burned in their brain. They won't bring it up, but it will always be there. It puts a space between the two people. Hopefully < ( depending) they will finally come around, but you HAVE to give them thier space, and don't harp on it. They have to analize the situation and will take it from there, and they need the space to do that.
Get on with your life. He will never forget, trust me! I am a capricorn and I know how I am.
