Does having an Aquarius moon mean much?!
Question: I have a Leo sun and an Aquarius moon, and for the most part I feel like more of an Aquarius. I do have the loyal, affectionate, loving, laid back, and proud traits of a Leo, but more than often I find myself in my own spacey world, constantly thinking, and its always about something 'big' or 'worldly.' I have this ticking desire to change the world, or watch humanity grow and learn. I need my space, I need my alone time, and I have a lot of trouble expressing emotions, not that they arent there. I'm also extremely friendly and open minded, and get frustrated with close minded, judgemental people. Is it possible that my moon sign is a bigger influence than my sun sign? Just curious... does anyone else feel this way?

well, this feeling of "aquarian-like" traits could be and most likely is more than the moon at work here.
possibly the moon is in the 1st house, indicating that you express your "emotions" through the personality. and if your emotions are like an aquarius, then we see that you act like an aquarius personality.
or, you could have uranus prominently placed. i have uranus conj. my ascendant, and i act alot like an aquarius in my personality. so, maybe you have this too. or even maybe it is in your first house, or you could have a stellium in aquarius somewhere....
there are so many things that "could" be going on here, i'd need to see the chart before i could pinpoint exactly where this "aquarian need" is calling from. and as for the sun and moon: it seems that for everyone, either the sun or moon is a stronger influence. it all depends on aspects and placements really. i mean, if say for example you were a cancer rising, then the moon would rule your chart. say this moon is also conjuct mars, ruler of the midheaven. now say that in this same chart, the sun rules the 2nd house and is in the 9th. it has 1 square from mars and 1 trine from jupiter. in this instance, the moon is more dominant in the chart because the sun only makes 2 aspects and doesn't rule any prominent houses for the individual. the moon, however, rules the chart and makes a serious aspect to the midheaven's ruler! it is "begging" to be looked at almost. and, to top it off, let's say that the moon is also sextile the ascendant. so, there we have it. the moon is doing "more", making it "more" of an influence.
you said you wanted to do something "charitable" for "humanity", and this is an attention getter for me. just based on what i know, i'd say aquarius rules or is contained in the 10th house, and the moon most likely squares it. aquarius moon's are naturally caring and humanitarianistic, and also they are lovers of freedom. they definately have emotions, and they can be very loving in relationships, but as you said, have a hard time knowing "how" to express these feelings. but, as with everything in this life, there are lessons. aquarius' moon's lesson is to learn "how" to express themselves emotionally.

im an aquarius and everything u said i relate to %100 percent i hate close minded, judgemental people also and im always thinking about charity and volunteering and trust me i spent more time in my head then i do doin anything else...i love o just be left alone so i can just think..its weird my bf doesnt understand this at all..his a cancer which makes it worse cause u know how they have "emotional needs" my moon is cancer however so i am sort of the same way i feel like i do have cancer tendencies..im also a cusp so i have capricorn tendencies also
Depends what house the moon is in. Also if there is an over emphasis in leo, as in planets or house pacement, it will kick back to aquarius. Plus, do you have aspects to sun and moon? Do either aspect your rising sign? Or sun/Uranus aspects?
I know a guy that is Aquarian he needs his own space etc.I have a Capricorn and a sag moon, I was told by the pyhsic to read those star signs as well, I was born on the cusp of Taurus / Gemini.
